In Dec 2025, I bought 100K 2-step, passed both phases in 2weeks. They sent me an email: accused me that I used VPS through the US IP - this was right - I bought a VPS to trade cos I'm very busy. They refused to give me funded account but refunded my challenge fee.
I then bought another 100K 1step this time, passed in less than 10days. They sent me another email, with warning, said I'm now restricted to using 1% risk per trade. I replied to accept it.
I got funded, because of the 1% rule, I went swinging on H4 coupled with scalping on M5 - I made $5,500 in 10days respecting the 1% rule and trading directly from my device (no more VPS), just a day to payout, they sent me another email that I'm permanently banned saying I used quick strike method.

The 1% per trade rule was sent to all funded traders bro. I got the email too. The gold and silver rally has made fn lose a lot of money so they're introducing rules to make profitable trading difficult. The latest of which is compulsory closure of profitable trades before the weekend.
FN is NOT a sincere prop firm. I'm trying Wfunded for now

You see that compulsory weekend closure of trades completely killed traders interests, especially swing traders. At that point I said I'm done. Just as if the already laid rules weren't enough, they added that.
I had to pump fund to my personal account with dar*winex and have withdrawn profits with zero rules and only 1day withdrawal.

The market has advanced so much
The use of bots has made most trading decisions to be on a very past face
Now, prices can go up very fast more then you can imagine


The daily time frame gives me very good and precise information on volumes


Volume is the reason I have to switch fully to the daily time frame gives

With the lower time frames, they’re not very consistent and don’t give really nice information

And I’ll say my issue started when some prop firm allowed me to do swing trading to pass my challenge phase

And then, when I got funded, I could not hold trades overnight on their funded accounts

Gold bleeped me up this week till I had to delete it,I don't even know who sent me to trade Gold,I would have stick to my currency pairs,my pairs was ranging through out this week and I hate ranging Market...it part of the game, no be everytime man dey win...

Chai sorry chief ,market has been doing bad lately,just move on and start over ,u can still restore this FTMO challenge if you blv, I revived one of my funded acct from 6.5% DD and got payout of 4% same last month ,just take it easy

Fundednext permanently banned me last week after I got my last pay from them - I'm no longer able to buy account with them.

No let that bleep from Gold discourage you from going close to it. Persist on trading Gold on a demo and you'll abandon every other pairs .

Your RM dey okay, cos looking at ur loss compared to ours is small. Maintain that tight RM with Gold and you'll be happy you struck a gold

Omo,I will keep gold on watchlist for now, my account is down and I need to ride it up again,I will have to reduce my lot size and focus on swing trading for now till I get to reasonable amount before i trade Gold
I have learnt my lesson if I was decipline enough not to trade this week atall when I didn't see any set up this wouldn't have happened...she have learnt something through experience now I really understand what trailing drawdown means..

Good day nairaland, please I need real help. I'm about buying prop challenge account from Maven trading prop firm. Please does anyone know if they pay profitable traders or will find an excuse to banned the trading so to not pay out profits.
I'm skeptical about this firm, please anyone with an experience with them should say something thanks.
