Nigeria population is about 40 European countries combined. How can a poor country have a combine population of 40 developed/ fairly developed countries.

Some people will say our population is our strength but that is false hope we use to tell ourselves. Large population can only be useful or works in an homogeneous society that shared at least 70 percent same lineage.

New countries with tiny popultion can help Africans a lot. it will gives room for robust capital and humans development. It will also gives room for new or modern approaches to national issues. Each small country would achieve a lot and be able to right the fundamental faults in the old countries.

Simply visit the UNESCO website and see how infant mortality rates, illiteracy, disease and other challenges have been falling steadily since independence.

You don't need to apologize, it's your view, just like I don't believe in the unity of Nigeria anymore, there is something I have learnt from Tinubu, and that is to have as many plans as possible for a single target of achievement, so in case one fails, there are others that will likely work.
