Why would Jesus receive tithes when He Himself attended synagogues where He paid tithes. Did Jesus establish a Church where people gather everyday to pray and worship? However, Jesus explicitly instructed that paying tithes and showing mercy is important and must not be left undone.


Mathew 23:23: "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone."

Jesus said they ought to pay tithes but not to leave mercy and judgements undone.

Were the Apostles not members of synagogues? Paul even shaved his hair while trying to prove his obedience to the law (Acts 18:18). What makes you think he won't pay tithes which is also part of the law?

Well Jesus is the Highpriest himself that is why he never paid tithe to anyone and he condemned those receiving it because they failed to make good use of the arrangements! Matthew 23:23

After Christianity was established all the services of priests in the temple ended that is what brought an end to tithing in Christianity! Hebrews 7:5-12

You and false doctrines are like 5 & 6. And, the most dangerous thing you churn out falsehoods with blatant disregard for whatever God's Word says. See how you are using the superior priesthood of Christ to represent that tithing ended when the same Hebrew chapter 7 established that:

"Here mortal men receive tithes, but there (in heaven) He (Jesus) receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives" Hebrews 7:8.

This Scripture established that Christ continues to receive tithes in heaven the same way melchizedek received tithes from Abraham. After the order of Melchizedek, Christ continues to fulfil the hight priesthood role in heaven by receiving offerings including tithes. This is clearly stated but you and your false organization would rather establish your own doctrines than obey the Word of God.

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

Philippians 3:3:

"For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh"

So we have nothing to do with the laws of tithe given to the nation of Israel which was established through circumcision!🙂

Tithing law was not established through circumcision. Abraham and Jacob gave tithes ever before the law was established.

Abraham gave Melchizedek not because he was given a law rather he did it out of his own freewill the law to give tithe was established after the nation of Israel was formed.
Today we are operating through another highpriest whose priesthood wasn't due to animal sacrifices something that made the Levites service providers in the worship arrangement {Hebrews 7:5-6} so if their services are no longer needed the laws that says they should be paid is gone! Hebrews 7:11-12🙂

Both Abraham and Jacob gave tithes, and their tithes were accepted. Jesus still receives tithes in heaven. It's not a prerequisite for salvation but it is a sacrifice of a sweet smelling savour before God. Which child of God would deny his Father the opportunity of such a sweet smelling sacrifice, and any other sweet smelling sacrifices that the Father delights in?

So God showed him favor introducing him to the New Religion that replaced Judaism, therefore whatever he was doing in Judaism before then is no longer useful all he needs to do now is follow the Christians and their teachings which does not include tithing!
