When pastors lie on piles of prayer requests, it sends a dangerous message: that God listens faster when a celebrity pastor “touches” your paper. This turns Christianity into a spiritual courier service instead of a direct relationship with God. Jesus already tore the veil. He already removed the need for human mediators. Yet these dramatic paper‑prayer rituals quietly teach believers that divine access now depends on a superstar pastor lying on their problems. Instead of raising a generation that is disciplined, hardworking, prayerful, and spiritually mature, we’re grooming crowds who outsource their spiritual lives to men. The church becomes a post office. The pastor becomes the middleman. And the people forget the Messiah who gave them direct access. Nigeria doesn’t need pastors performing on piles of paper. We need believers who pray boldly, work diligently, and walk with God personally not through a human “high priest.” Scripture: “Come boldly to the throne of grace.” — Hebrews 4:16 1 Like

Let me educate your ignorant mind a little. We all have access to God through Jesus Christ but don’t be deceived we don’t have the same relationship with God as some are close to God through their covenant relationship and some are very very very far away. God loves everyone the same but we all love God back the same? No!! This is where our personal relationship with God comes into play. You as a person there is someone that will call you for something and you won’t give it but there is someone else who is very close to your heart that when they ask you for the same thing, though you don’t want to give that thing but because of how that person touches your heart specially, you will release it. It’s not about you because your stance may be the same but it’s about the person that accesses you the right way that makes the difference. So that being said, can God answer the prayers because of that pastor on that paper: Yes. God can because of the relationship the Pastor has with God. You too can develop that relationship and pray to God on behalf of others and God will answer. That brings me to my second question: Does God read those papers? Read isaiah 37:14 to the end. You will see the spreading written notes can be PART of prayer when talking to God and come to think of it, if man that God created can read how much more the God that created man? In all this it boils down to your relationship to God ( permit my English) not Gods relationship to you as it were. If you have not received Jesus today, God loves you nonetheless but do you love God? Fix your relationship to God by saying this prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank you that you love me, so much so you died for me even when I didn’t care about you. Today I recognize your love towards me and receive you as my Lord and savior. Wash my sins away and I take the righteousness available for me in you today. I declare that from today I love you Jesus and I choose to follow you. Holy Spirit ( the spirit of Jesus) fill me now and help me to love you daily. Amen. Read the bible and pray everyday and develop your relationship to God. 4 Likes |

Sensationalism You see how controversial talks online always goes viral - that's how some of these "men" are with their flock - they have to device new ways of dramatizing their "access to heaven" which in turns "fingers the belief" of their flocks. Others who have found the true meaning of relationship with God may not even write any prayer point let alone giving pastor to rub his sweat on it. My people are swindled, scammed, subjected to slaverry and destroyed for the lack of knowledge. |
