An individual can do what a government cannot do.

Yarim*o has a higher chance of building a working refinery than the federal government.

Ignorance is not bliss o.

NNPC is part owner of Dangote Refinery and it is to avoid conflict of interest that it makes sense to let all refineries be private sector-led.

We are not persuaded that NNPC will be able to completely insulate itself from political patronage. That is why they should run as a private organization first before building refineries.
You mean 7% is a major stake.

Are you effectively agreeing with Atiku and Obasanjo's PDP privatisation and deregulation policies that gave us 16 years of widespread prosperity, culminating in the licensing of Dangote refinery as part of the 2012 downstream sector deregulation and subsidy removal?

Why did we reward A-looter Propaganda Conmen, APC with the presidency three years afyer they played politics with our welfare by protesting the 2012 deregulation and subsidy removal plan?

Are we truly 200 million mumus of Lag aja huh

God already sabotaged the efforts of Tinubu and his NMDPRA plus NNPC people to destroy Dangote refinery.

Do you remember how they said its products were low quality and it was not licensed in 2024, a year after Buhari commissioned it o shocked

And then there was the drama about crude supply by NNPC goons trying to protect their Malta refining arrangement.

Tinubu and APC have never been patriotic Nigerians. They are wicked saboteurs of our national interest for their own selfish, greedy and parochial gains!

Yes, it is!
I like the proposed increase of Federal Government's stake from 7.2% to 20%.
I eagerly look forward as well to the proposed public offers. It will be a very good investment opportunity for middle-class Nigerians.

The initial stake was supposed to be 20%, NNPCL couldn't meet up with the 20% obligation so they settled for 7.2%

oga shut up, I wasn't talking about the value of the stake, 7 out of 100 is still small, no matter the value u put on the 7%, it's basic math, infact nnpc is what we call a minority shareholder ...u said I'm a poor man... I didn't insult u.... I jst said I'm richer than you, and your generations combined both past, present and future
You mean 1.4 billion dollars iis small? Them don explain to you but you no gree . Owning 1% of a company the size of Dangote refinery is considered a major shareholder not to talk of 7 or 20 .

see listen apart from dangote group, the other known shareholder is nnpc... So we can call them a major shareholder, if they call for a meeting of shareholders, nnpc will be invited.... But owing 7% of a company means u can't make any significant decision in the company.... NNPC’s stake in the Dangote Refinery is a strategic minority interest that allows participation but not control... That's my point... I'm not even talking about d value of the stakes
