There is only one permutation that can create a bit of a problem for Tinubu. That is an Atiku Obi ticket. However knowing how shortsighted and visionless Obi is alongside the power drive in Atiku, the chances of it happening is slim.
Just in case it happens , does ADC have the grassroot traction and machinery needed to oversee an election ? The lack of which nailed LP in 2023? I doubt it .
I side with Deji on this . Tinubu will cruise to victory although with a predictably horrible voter turnout

If I were Atiku and Obi, I wouldn't waste my money contesting against Tinubu in 2027, I'll allow him complete his 8yr term and leave before I can throw my hat in the ring again.

The biggest problem is their mentality that all Nigerians hate APC and they can't win except through rigging. How could you have this kind of mentality and be able to work hard to mobilize people at grass root level. While they keep playing victims politic and depends on internet rhetoric by novice Obidents, APC are already working tirelessly to mobilize real people.

Another biggest problem is their supporters. Once you give them a piece of advise,they will immediately tag you APC supporter. I understand Obi might be a complete novice and ethnic bigot, but what about experienced ones like Atiku and co who should know better. Looking at the odd on ground, Atiku may prefer to eventually strike a deal with Tinubu and have a stake in his government rather than wasting his time and resources on a fruitless mission. He will do that by stepping down for Obi and leave him to his fate.

If the opposition can enter street to make the lawmakers return to the house and force them to make some additions preventing politicians like Wike to go round wards, sentence electoral offenders to 10 years imprisonment, look into real time transmission again and see what upgrades we can do, then, 2027 fan still be competitive. But if they leave it like this, Tinubu has won.
