This is not true! Yoruba Language is growing and will continue to grow because:
1. Many musicians will continue to use in music both in gospel and circular! Even other people from different ethic group will have to sing in Yoruba to make it big in the industry
2. Yoruba language is taught in many churches, contrary to your argument up there and that's why virtually all churches have at least two services: Yoruba and English service.
3. To drive in a particular city in the US, you have to obtain driving licence in English or Yoruba- " For long-term driving, you must obtain a local state license. As of late 2023, the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) added Yoruba, along with other languages, to its learner’s permit knowledge test, allowing residents to take the written test in Yoruba"
4. The ever expanding taste of the Yorubas for knowledge and Academic excellence is making the language ever stronger. Recently a scientist took a seed to space an name it in Yoruba native language

Yorubas like to bear their native names more than any other tribe in Nigeria.

Hausa - Arabic names

I agree with you when it comes to hausa people bearing Arabic names because of Islam. But Yoruba people dont even come close to hausa people in speaking their language. That is the major reason for poor English in most parts of northern Nigeria. And the typical Yoruba person can't go three sentences without including english words.
