Wike should be rewarded. Apart from God, it was Wike that made Tinubu to become President today. Mallam El Rufai contributed a lot also but lack of support from BUHARI Camp created a critical problem. Rivers State was the last resort that took Tinubu to the Presidency.

Wike's effort in 2023 is historical. Amaechi took APC machinery in Rivers State to fight Tinubu. The Rivers State APC addressed Press Conference thrice before the election telling the whole world that WIKE was planning to rig election in favour of Tinubu. Imagine APC in Rivers State making a broadcast against APC Presidential Candidate. That is a great betrayal. WIKE fought and won .

1. Democracy being embedded in justice and fairness

2. Rule of law as the cornerstone of democracy

3. Leaders being accountable to the people who elected them and act in their interest

Point of correction, there is nothing like Democracy in Religion, Christianity in particular.

Christianity is a mixture of Theocracy (the Prophets) and Monarchy (the Kings)
And if you come to the new testament we are talking of Kingdoms and Empires e.g. Rome ruling because they are "instituted by God" (still Theocracy+Monarchy)

At the bolded, the answer is yes sir. If you know what goes on in the politics of the US and UK you are trying to quote you won't be talking like this. What do you think is the reason behind all the litigation against Trump all about? all those court cases, those scandals e.g Epstein file, the Russian interference on behalf of Trump etc the Democrats were pushing, you don't know they are all to stop DT from contesting? If it was one weak candidate contesting under Republicans do you think they will go to that length? The same APC is doing to stop PDP fielding strong opponent like Atiku,

The only difference with Nigeria is that those parties you mentioned have been in existence for over 170 years and so they are stronger than the PDPs and APCs yet, the government in power still influence and disrupts activities in the opposition party any little way they can.

Who you should blame are political weaklings like Atiku who run away to Dubai after losing every election only to reappear when the next election is around the corner and a political novice like Obi who jumps from one party to another saying he doesn't give "shishi" not knowing that to win a presidential election in Nigeria, its either you are hand-picked by a godfather or you become a godfather yourself by building the party you are and making it formidable to external interference-all of which need money, vision, patience and dedication.
