The FG is rejoicing because a sane judge in a sane court delivered the judgement on it's merit. But some of our insane and corrupt judges will deliver a skewed judgement. All the same, congrats to the government on their victory even though that money is going to be diverted to private pockets. |

kaludestiny10:But the same court in a sane country has been dishing out judgement in favor of the company against all other African countries. Nigeria is bigger than you, don't belittle it because your favorite politician didn't win. |

AK481:If the company is not satisfied, they can go to any government court and the judges over there will verdict them to pay more than arbitrators. |

When I saw the word 'Contractor', it is not a surprise to me. We all know the primary reasons these 'contracts' fail and if we cannot change that culture the losses to the people through the Nigerian state will continue. Can the AGF institute a probe into the failed 'contracts' for the repair of the refineries, or is the 2.5 billion dollars not much more than what we see here or is Mr. President going to waive that one as well. A nation that cannot be hands-on about its development but continues a culture of sub-letting our plans and programs out to foreigners, to people we should be competing against. |

Obaofaba:This is the first judgement from the write up. Also, what happens is the we bungle up our own case and not their justice system. |

Stop it! A company that made a net profit of £1.3 million in 2024 ain't no European Tech Giant. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, so we need to look no further than the significant functional deficiencies, including critical omissions and errors affecting system performance delivered as its final result. |

Oya please, give me any example where an international firm agreed to arbitration overseas and still went on to sue us in our local courts...just one example please. |

AnonPoet:That's highly impressive. It's important to always scrutinize all contracts and documents before appending your signatures. I lot of people are to LAZY and end up NOT reading the fine-prints of official documents. |
