In a deeply emotional video, a young lady shared her decision to fulfill her late father’s wish. According to her, her dad had always wanted her to salute him at his shop once she began her NYSC service. Sadly, he passed away before she could begin her service year.

She wrote: “My dad really wanted me to salute him at his shop once I went for NYSC, but unfortunately, he passed away before my NYSC. So, I decided to fulfill his last wish.”

In a touching moment during his burial, the Nigerian corps member was seen saluting her late father’s body as a final tribute to him.

This brings tears to my eyes this early morning. I remember when I was promoted to Major and I went to my father’s graveside. I saluted and told him that even if he died a Captain, I’d keep saluting him because he paved the way for me to follow. It’s a tradition I keep doing after every promotion. Let her keep her promise to him. He’s earned that salute, even in death.

RIP to the man. And to that person spraying money on a coffin, I seriously do not understand how they managed to be so stewpid? Must they always show off?

Some of them didn't buy the man a sachet of water when he was alive.

I didn't know i still had tears in my eyes till I watched this video with the sound on. Last time I cried was maybe 15 years ago


Meanwhile why are they spraying her at this time? Ull be surprised to find This same people spraying money now didn't have 1 naira when money was needed for hospital bill. D people with sense will put money inside envelope Nd give her when she is calm.

Really emotional....I shed tears.i did my Nysc as an orphan....I could imagine the joy in my mom's face if she had seen me wear that uniform.....life go far,I lost my mom on the day I wrote my last paper in my third year .so I had to do 400level alone,Cos I lost my dad even befoe gaining admission...I spilled over that 400level for 3yrs....it was God that made me finally become a graduate..and that institution was the University of benin...I remember after my 100 level result came out,I went to my mom at her stall where she sells Foodstuff,and I told her I had a very good cgpa 4.38,she said 'why he no go good pikin wey I dey hustle for inside sun and inside rain'mind you I am only child.seeing me wear that khaki would have been accomplishment for her but sadly it was not so....I can very much relate with emotions in this stories...

Nigerian youths work hard and strive for an education and brighter future against all odds and artificial hazards put in their way but our government/politicians are the most irresponsible and wicked.... God will judge them specially.

So painful ,since her dad wanted it in life but wasn't able to live to receive it ,then is only normal for her to fulfil her dad's wish....life of a man is complicated, many suffered to trained their children in school only to die when they're about to benefit from their children 🧒

Most Nigerian men marry much younger women. On this forum, you lots keep shouting that you can’t marry evening newspaper. A woman 10 to 15 years younger than her husband has a high probability of outliving him. Make unu de think am, before whining.
