Some scary things are happening online these days, people.

A Delta State woman, identified as Anthonia, was recently rescued by local vigilantes after allegedly being lured by a man she met online. According to a video that has gone viral, she was found tied to a tree in a bush.

Anthonia explained that she met the man online, and he invited her to meet in person. But things took a dangerous turn when she arrived. She says the man and his accomplice forced her into the bush, tied her up, and accessed her phone and bank information.
One of the suspects reportedly admitted they transferred her money into a betting account. Shockingly, he also revealed that his partner had gone to lure another victim in the same way.

The vigilantes confirmed that the suspects were apprehended and handed over (or were about to be handed over) to the Delta State Police.

This story is a warning to everyone about meeting strangers online.
