I felt the need to make this thread due to the level of ignorance and naivety I have been seeing online, especially in relation to Trump's assessment of terrorism in Nigeria and his desire to save the Christians that are being killed |

They don't care about you This is the first and most important thing you need to know as a black person living in Nigeria. The people sitting at the pinnacle of political power in Western governments have never cared about you, and they never will. It doesn't matter if you are Christian or Muslim. They see you as cattle, and your country as their farm. The only interest they have in African countries is the resources and how trade and financial relations will benefit them These are the same people that actively participate in the r*pe, torture, and m*urder of little kids, yet you think they care about the death of people in the northern part of Nigeria. |

False Flags Another subject you need to understand is the subject of false flags. A false flag operation is an act committed with the intent of disguising the actual source of responsibility and pinning blame on another party, and used to justify retaliation or create a desired narrative. Western governments have used false flags for decades. The most common one is the 9/11 false flag carried out by the American government on its own people, in collaboration with the Israeli government, and used as a justification to invade Afghanistan Operation Northwoods was another declassified planned false flag where the American government planned to stage and commit acts of terrorism against US military and civilian targets, blame them on the Cuban government, and use them to justify a war against Cuba. John F Kennedy rejected this plan, and was assassinated months later There have been various other false flag operations throughout recent history and every one of them have been used as justification for invading and occupying sovereign countries, entering a war or fueling a narrative |

Operation Susannah: The Lavon Affair This is a false flag that is very relevant to what's happening in our world today In 1954, Israeli military intelligence ran a covert operation inside Egypt. They planted bombs in American and British civilian targets; in libraries, cinemas, and cultural centers to make it look like Egyptian nationalists were responsible. The goal was to sabotage relations between Egypt and Western powers and prevent Britain from withdrawing troops from the Suez Canal. The operation was exposed after one of the bombs detonated prematurely. Several operatives were arrested by Egyptian authorities. A political scandal erupted inside Israel, eventually contributing to the resignation of Defense Minister Pinhas Lavon, hence the name “Lavon Affair.” Decades later, Israel officially acknowledged the operation |

Islamic terrorism is a western invention Islamic terrorism is a tool used by the western governments to cause political instability and civil unrest in territories of interest. Western intelligence agencies have historically funneled money, weapons, and strategic support into radicalized groups in different parts of the world and continue to do this even today through agents within these territories During the Soviet-Afghan War, the United States in coalition with Saudi Arabia poured billions of dollars in funds and weapons into the Mujahideen fighters to bleed the Soviet Union. Many of those Mujahideen fighters morphed into the Taliban After the 9/11 attack, the US invaded Afghanistan. The Taliban came into power after this invasion Extremist groups like ISIS didn't grow out of chaos, but were empowered by U.S. and allied intelligence (and sometimes even Israeli intelligence) to weaken rivals, justify military intervention, and reshape the Middle East. ISIS emerged from the sectarian vacuum and chaos created after the 2003 invasion of Iraq by the US. The US forces conveniently abandoned a lot of their high end weapons and tanks, which were then claimed by the Islamic extremists in Iraq, who later morphed into ISIS |

Boko Haram Just like ISIS, Boko Haram is a tool used to create political instability in Nigeria. They are funded by the west through agents within the Nigerian government. These agents are politicians who have been paid to keep silent and allow the murder of their own people by radicalized sects One of the benefits of Islamic terrorism in Nigeria is that it keeps Nigerian indebted to the the IMF and World bank. The Nigerian government is billions of dollars in debt due to loans it has collected to fight terrorism Whenever our government collect loans, they are given instructions on economic and financial policies that they must implement, even if those policies run contrary to the progress of our country, else the loans get rejected Another benefit of Islamic terrorism is human trafficking. When Boko haram invades rural communities, they kill most of the men, and take the young women and children as captives All these women and children are then trafficked and sold to wealthy people, most of who aren't even Africans. I can confirm to you that some of these trafficked young women and children are bought, abus*d, tort*red and kil*ed. Some are even eaten or hunted as sport by these sick sadistic elite |

You should be concerned You should be concerned when Trump continuously makes claims about wanting to save the Christians in Nigeria First of all, Trump isn't the one making the decisions. He is just a puppet. The people making the decisions control both the democrat and republican wing of the American government, and I find it concerning that they are showing a growing interest in sending American troops to Nigeria to combat terrorism Historically this never ends well for the country; the terrorism and civil unrest actually gets worse after they occupy territories. Sending troops into Nigerian soil also makes it easier to supply weapons directly to these Islamic terrorists and not have to go through agents within the Nigerian government |

You have made vital points....I don't blame the USA for our problems as much as I would blame our own people selling us out.Our leaders are very much the people to blame in all these. They have proven repeatedly that they don't care about us,now the citizens out of desperation are left with no choice than to expect help from outside. Imagine when one is not shown love at home,an outsider only needs to do little to convince the person that they care. |

| Re: Why Are Christians In Nigeria So Naive? by demanuel(m): 12:41pm On Feb 23 |
Ourtruth247:You've said it all. But let me add. There's a "second leg" (reason) as to why the US military boots are here in Nigeria; -Some of the northern elites in collaboration with the Chinese are extracting mineral resources (both common but high valued and rare earth) which is a loss or disadvantage to the US. Most of these resources are high valued components used in the manufacture of high-end military and tech products. And whoever posses these resources in commercial quantities will be the front runner of the next industrial revolution that'll commence with the adoption of AI at scale. In summary- The US military boots are here for our high valued resources, in addition to other reasons you've stated. |
