The planned summit between the United States and Iran in Geneva on Thursday is seen in Washington as a crucial opportunity to advance talks on a new nuclear agreement.

While President Donald Trump’s advisers, including Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, are seeking to allow more room for diplomacy, other figures within his circle are pressing for military action against Tehran if no breakthrough is achieved.

According to Israel’s Channel 12 News, the perceived hesitation in Washington is causing concern in Tel Aviv. A US source who met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week said Netanyahu left his meeting with President Trump at the White House without clarity over the president’s intentions.

The same source quoted Netanyahu as asking: “Is Trump still with us? I’m worried.”

Israel is expected to closely monitor the outcome of the Geneva talks, particularly in light of the anticipated arrival of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is due to meet Netanyahu two days later.

Earlier on Sunday, senior US officials said they were demanding that Iran submit a detailed proposal for a nuclear agreement within 48 hours, by Tuesday, ahead of President Trump’s expected State of the Union address.

The amount of military equipments deployed by Trump is equal to 40% of US military capacity leaving it vulnerable to Russia and China

Somebody said Israel can defeat Iran.

So what is Benjamin waiting for,let him just attack and leave US alone. To US soldiers seems don't want war with Iran. They are already rushing to the toilet

Every damn Country in this World will have to calculate, strategize and analyze before attacking Iran (Israel found out in the 12 day War).

Chances are Thousands of US service men and Military assets in the middle east will be destroyed and there's no assurance that US will end up winning the War. Very Vague scenario

my own is that if Benjamin wants war he should attack and stop disturbing US soldiers that are already having issues with their toilets

What's the score of the 12 days war? Israel lost less than 100 of it's citizens, mostly old men and women that refused to take cover in the bomb bunkers. Iran lost over 1,200 of it's citizens, mostly senior military men and top scientists. You can't fight someone that has control over your airspace
