Even you need to mind your grammar bro
Can you list just five groundbreaking projects he's doing?
1. 2 Flyovers at Ramat Park and Adesuwa Rds to decongest traffic and open up the area

2. Dualization of Roads leading from Iruekpen in Ekpoma to Ubiaja -- that is an 8 lane road that cut across and connects 5 LG Areas (I dont know the number of kilometres but it will take you about 2 hours 45 mins or more, driving on good speed to get to Ubiaja from Iruekpen)

3. Revamping of Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma. The immediate past administration reduced the subvention to the higher institution to 40 million naira, a situation that brought the school to its knee, leading to the dis-accreditation of most depts including, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Lab, Microbiology, Mass Communication, among others. Okpebholo increased it to 500m and has successfully secured the accreditation of almost all the departments --- as a result, the medical school was able to induction it's graduate, after 10 years of waiting...

4. Recruitment of over 5,000 teachers into Edo public schools....

5. Recruitment of over 3,000 graduates I to the state Civil Service (Note, unlike the immediate past administration, Okpebholo does not do contract staff. It's either you are recruited into the core service as a full staff or you are not recruited)

6. Ongoing interior roads projects scattered across all the local government areas. Almost every community is been touched

7. Mechanised farming scattered across the state and empowerment of farmers and market women with soft loans and tractors to expand their farms and business

8. Taming cultism in Edo to a stand still...

You asked for 5, I gave you 8. You can independently verify them, please.

On security (apart from cultism), although he seems to be doing much, I however will score him low. The effect of what he is doing has not been felt. I think he is sympathetic towards the Fulani people..... I think he needs to be more firm in dealing with them. Fulani herdsmen are making some part of Edo, uninhabitable

I think those shouting "English and grammar" up and down should be more ashamed of themselves because, it shows clearly how daft and empty they are. Is "GCFR" grammar or even an English word? GCFR is an acronym and I am sure by now, sentiments aside, you would have noticed, that the governor has speech impediment.

A careful observation on his outings shows that he struggles with putting words together -- even when he is speaking pidgin or his native language. He struggles with words..... Anyone can have speech impediment --- that does not in anyway reduce the intellect of such persons.

I would rather, that we begin to judge this man by his works and performances, not by irrelevaces.

You can open a thread and ask those living in Edo to assess his 14+ months in office so far, and you will be amazed by the responses you will get. Or, take a one week holiday and visit Edo to see things for yourself. These should be what defines elected officers, not fluency of speech or not
You that is supporting the Gov,why not list the so called projects he is doing?

This your English better explains what’s trending about the man. You simply explained your understanding of “ground breaking projects”.
If speaking “grammar” was not important, education would not be part of the requirements for political leadership.

If your governor cannot read the budget presented by him to the house of assembly, then your definition of “ground breaking projects” beats one’s imagination.
... What baffles me is how can he carry out ground breaking projects when he can't even manage the project, track and interprete key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess project health.

I think that this guys main problem is that he might be an introvert who develops stage fright once the attention is on him..

I mean he can't be so out of it that he can't pronounce words. It is acute stage fright that he is struggling with..

HIGHESTPOPORI:
So you haven't heard about the transformation Otti is doing in Abia State
You are a joker.

I am currently in Enugu and I visit Abia from time to time. I have been there this year. The case of Abia can be likened to the saying that, "in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king"

Abia has been in developmental darkness for too long that the presence of a mere touch light seems like paradise. Yes, compared to the past leaders you have had in Abia State, Otti stands tall.... But please, it ends there. Keep him confined to your developmentally backward state. Even Lucky Igbinedion that Edo consider to be their worst performing governor, stands shoulder tall and higher than your almighty Alex Otti in terms of development.

With ALL the social media hypes (because you guys have lived in darkness for too long), ALEX OTTI HAS ONLY CONSTRUCTED 16 ROADS TOTALLING 251KM+ in 3 YEARS(this is according to official reports by Otti's administration).

Charles Soludo has, within almost the same period under review (slightly longer) constructed a total of 621km+ roads and MONDAY OKPEBHOLO OF EDO HAS CONSTRUCTED 120KM+ ROADS IN JUST 14 MONTHS IN OFFICE
Do the maths and tell us who actually is leading =
ALEX OTTI = 251KM in 3 years
CHARLES SOLUDO = 621km in 4 years
MONDAY OKPEBHOLO = 120KM+ in 1 year

How many workers has Alex OTTI recruited in 3 years? How much is he paying as minimum wage? How much is he paying as bursary to Abia students nation wide? How many mechanised farms has he set up in 3 years? What is his intervention so far in Abia State University?

Dey there dey celebrate mediocrity

To be honest this man is working in Edo state, which I believe is the most important aspect of governance. The former governor who is so called educated (Obaseki), spent 8years without doing anything in Edo. The present governor is just less than 3years in office and have done so much for Edo people. Now, let me enlighten us a little bit; Do you know where that speech was made by the governor? Ans: Inauguration of construction equipments (payloaders, bulldozers, graders, Tippers etc) for 18 LGAs of Edo state. The target is, even the most remote villages in the entire State of Edo must have good roads and I see this as innovativeand visionary. Now, all the LGA Chairs in the State will have no excuse not to work. Mind you, these equipments were solely bought and provided by Govr. Of Edo State. The man may not be too good in spoken English (which is not our mother tonque. By the way, go to Russia, China, Japan, Germany, France etc. and find out which languages they use in developing their various countries) but one fact is that this man is serious working in Edo State. In fact if you know the history of Gov. Monday Okpebholo, you wouldn't be surprised at the good work the man is doing in Edo State. He has been an ardent philanthropist even before he ever knew he will do politics.
Note: I am not from Edo State, just a resident of Benin City.
