I don't understand what you typed. If you are referencing where to get the GTBank investing app, they don't have one that I know about. You can check the Play Store or App Store depending on which you use.
Re: Equity Investment. by Crossblueart: 7:01pm On Feb 24
Their bank app is also their investment app.
Also, the rates posted are gross rates (charges inclusive)

CS is over the moon; I've left them and am currently using Zrosk, Zenith ESG, and Zenith Balanced Fund, and I added Paramount today.
Please when is the best time to top up equity market fund to avoid getting a negative value?
Re: Equity Investment. by princezzz(f): 8:47pm On Feb 24
I started my Equity journey with CS on friday last week, credited my account by past 2. Although i didnt particapate in the gains of the day, but i got an extra 5k on top of my capital when it reflected.

Yeah, Afrinvest even did green. Waiting for Paramount and zedcrest.
How do u see the green in afrinvest?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 10:08pm On Feb 24
Paramount is green today, as my top-up yesterday has been updated.

Zenith ESG and balanced fund: No update yet.

I do Afrinvest equity fund on the cowrywise app only. In cowrywise, the % gains of each fund is always in green. When it's a loss, it's red and the arrow head points down.

Tried signing up for Paramount they are asking for location access to my house, I don’t understand why because I am currently out of town for burial and it might take a few weeks before I go back. I wan rest for village
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:44pm On Feb 24
You can skip that part, and when you are back home, you can try it again. However, you will be in level 2 until you verify the house thing.

Quick question, it seems you convert to invest, if you need to use your funds in dollars. How do you get that and in good value for dollars?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:55pm On Feb 24
I'm currently working in Asia, and I am also running the local account here. I don't use dollars here, as they are of no use and worthless here; however, I use Western Union or Wise to transfer money to my Nigerian account, and this only brings me back to the USD rate when converting to naira. If the USD keeps falling, I always get an unfavorable rate.

Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 12:16am On Feb 25
Maybe, fingers crossed.

Bluearrow:
That means there is likely to be a drop on this current already low Stanbic interest rate? Abeg oh
I was even thinking to consider mmf later this year, but with this possibility of interest rate reduction, that makes it a no go area for me.

Oh okay, I was wondering what the value of this investment will be except you intend to use naira or come back to Nigeria. Because if the rates become too unfavourable then all those gains might become losses long term.

But the again black tax dey lol

I found the experience crazy, them trying to locate my address and home on the map but well...

Secondly, I don't know what's wrong with them, telling me that my SCSC pr CHN number isn't correct even though it is.

Yeah they told me the same thing also in regards to that so I didn’t bother. I will delete the app when and get back to it later
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody:
That's why equity funds come into play; once I reach 60-70M capital, I will stop and then go on vacations around Asia. **Black tax** is normal; however, any heavy demanding, my number is always blocked throughout the year.

Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 2:17am On Feb 25
The CSCS and CHN are for trading stuff; you don't need that for the equity fund. The address stuff is archaic; you can ignore it, and you will be in level 2. Furthermore, LV3, you can only withdraw 1m maximum. I don't have any intention to invest aggressively in it, I'll just play around.

Pls my people, has anyone tried this Risevest investment plan?

This plan looks as if it's better than chasing 15 to 18% on money market mutual funds, besides it's stable and comes with fund preservation plan like MMF,

In conclusion, risevest is now officially approved and licensed by SEC.

Been using Risevest Naira Vault for at least 2 years now without issues. It's why I was initially surprised when I first joined the MMF thread and realised there's was little to no mention of it.

I think skepticism about SEC licencing is what led people to be skeptical which quite frankly makes sense. Still using them till today and in my opinion worth considering. This obviously isn't an endorsement as I expect that you do your due diligence, I'm just sharing my experience.

And oh, it's not 25% as indicated, more like 22% now. It was 25% for sometime last year but got reviewed downwards as the CBN reduced rates.
