Nobody is fighting you bro but I don't do copy and paste things.

They fought you and overpowered you, and you say your so called IFA and Ayelala are potent.

Let's place this illustration logically, the white came with guns and your type can also say "forged IFA book" to slave trade Africans. "Typical African man would say they forced there believes on them, gave them guns and stole there most precious properties including artifacts (same IFA and Ayelala was giving to the whites in exchange of either money or there brothers and sisters into slave trade)".

Why did the guns and forged IFA book as claimed by you overpowered the potency of your IFA and Ayelala?
Was IFA and Ayelala not around in the period of colonization?

Can't your IFA and Ayelala fight back to reclaim everything that was stolen huh?
Bro, let's not go into history because I am not here to banter words with you; I'm just here to state the obvious.

The whites have left Africans far too long, why is it still so impossible for Africans to develop and change there mindsets. It's called "GREEDINESS".

If it's not greediness and insatiable appetite your people had then, do you even think it would have been easy for whites to capture Africa not to talk of colonization?

White came for "Exploration", blacks turned it to "Exploitation" to the detriment of there own race.

Enough of me..
History is rarely as simple as they were strong, we were weak or our traditions failed. Military technology explains battlefield outcomes; it does not invalidate belief systems, cultures, or knowledge traditions. Guns overpower spears that’s physics, not proof of spiritual superiority.

Reducing colonization to African greediness ignores documented realities. You completely ignored the fact that the so called white man did not win the wars alone. There were alliances involving multiple nations Persian, Syrian, Indian, Asian, and even the Aksum Kingdom of Africa modern day Ethiopia, to name a few all of which played roles in the broader historical processes that shaped Africa’s encounter with European military campaigns.

Colonization was driven by Envy, economic motives, political fragmentation, coercion, disease, and global power dynamics. Exploitation involved both external forces and internal actors, as has been true in nearly every region’s history.

Ifa traditional systems were never designed as weapons of war; they functioned as calamity-prevention, philosophical, ethical, and social frameworks laws and orderly conduct for kingdoms and society, with dos and don’ts, with consequences forewarned, as it is written in Deuteronomy 28. The colonizers took note of this to conquer a nation, you must calculate the cost, understand their power source and confidence, then mobilize a strategy. If you read the letter of Leopold of Belgium, you will gain a fuller understanding of how the war on Africa was won not only by military power as that was the last resort used, but by breaking the core spiritual shield of a people so that their Creator would not be able to defend them.
Judging Ifa by military outcomes is a category error.

Africa’s developmental challenges today are likewise complex governance structures, institutions, global economics, infrastructure, education systems, Colonial religions awarded to African prolonged docile and spiritual unclothedness as evidently this days, colonial s governing system and its historical extraction patterns. Blame narratives feel satisfying, but they rarely produce understanding.

Because she called you Mr instead of Dr.
So because of title you want a human being to die... the bible says..I give you life and give you life more abundantly..so you have no power to kill...go and resign..you are not worthy to be a pastor
Elisha did worst than this man, just because the little children were singing for him. Instead of him to be dancing to their songs, he killed them. The Bible is the author of confusion.

When people hear the word Babalawo, they believe it is synonymous to evil. But the reality is the other way round.

Babalawos are not evil people. The society has deceived us for so long that these people are evil but in reality, they have the cleanest and most truthful and honest hearts you can ever find. I am talking about the core genuine spiritualists. They also believe in God.

Instead of you to be scared of Babalawos, be more scared of your next neighbour, friends and the people you dine with on a daily basis. The average people you relate with on a daily basis are the evil ones not the Babalawos most of you demonise.

Most Babalawos are just spiritual healers. They don't go about committing evils like the average human beings we eat and dine with on a daily basis. Many Babalawos had healed a lot of people of different sicknesses than the average hospital you can ever think of.

So, when next you see the word Babalawos, just understand that they are healers and not killers, and instead of being scared of them, be scared of your next neighbour and people you call friends - Friends-nemies (enemies that are pretending to be friends) than Babalawos that most of you are equating to be evil.

So, do not use what that fake pastor said to start demonising genuine spiritualists who have healed and helped a lot of people than the average hospitals.

I refused to follow the bandwagon to see Babalawos as bad people, and I believe you will do same and change your mindset henceforth.

Elisha did exactly what God promised in the Bible regarding children who are treating elders with contempt:

“‘Before gray hair you should rise up, and you must show honor to an older man, and you must be in fear of your God. I am Jehovah." Leviticus 19:32

That is why God's holy spirit spoke through Elisha because the Israelites who are supposed to deal with their children for disrespecting an older man and a prophet of God didn't act fast.

This case totally differs because the man in question is an impostor whoever represents Christ must be humble and peaceful with everyone but he wants to act like Elisha while claiming follower of Christ!😟

This ugly man and Elisha are the same abeg. They are both bitter and cannot stand simple mockery. Same as God your creator. He too doesn't know how to be patient or stomach insult in the olden days. But these days sha, he has learnt by force grin

As you wish to know.
God gave the nation of Israel laws that will serve as their constitution so they were supposed to uphold His laws with prudence because He secured that land for them and brought them there with force after singlehandedly releasing them from slavery in Egypt.
He wanted them to serve as example for all other nations around the world {Exodus 19:5} so if they deliberately ignore His commandments He has the right to bring upon them curses just as He has warned them when they were about to settle on the land! Deuteronomy 28:15-68
But by the time Jesus walked the earth they have been divided ten out of twelve tribes were lost among the nations due to their stubbornness and idolatry remaining just two tribes since that is the place where God promised to raise the Christ and it was another pagan nation that was ruling over them so the laws given to them was no longer in effect as it was when they were independent that is why God no longer enforce the laws over them and He allowed them to live under another nation who now set rules for them.

By the time Jesus was among them they were to learn from him and do all the things God sent him to teach them since that was God's promise to their forefathers during the time of Moses! Deuteronomy 18:18-19

False religions claiming Christians have caused a lot of confusion for most of you that's why you are claiming atheists but we know you're acting based on the misconceptions you had through Christendom Churches so whatever you think, say or do is meaningless to the true God! Luke 23:34🙂

You are not being patriotic aswear. How can you be quoting Exodus, Deuteronomy and Luke on top this matter when we have Luwabi 23:14, Lagos 4:13, Kalakuta 3:18 to quote? I take that as inferiority complex. I won't take you seriously until you start reading and quoting books from your fatherland undecided

Luwabi 2:7
7. If you leave the words of the wise ones of your land alone and do not know them by heart, others shall come to learn those words and shall change their forms and return to you with the words in another form. And they shall enslave your minds with the words and take your land.

Lets go by your own books now.

Please how has your Luwabi, Lagos and Kalakuta help to organize you and your fellow adherents of these books to cohabit peacefully among yourselves?🙂

We have been cohabiting peacefully since 2016 when Otem the prophet revealed it. Now you cannot see me condemn people to hell for wrongdoings. I don't curse people anymore because curses don't work. Rather I use the law if need be. People around me that are reading the book of Luwabi and Lagos now know not to worship foreign gods and to work instead of praying for their daily needs. Omorr, life with the book of Luwabi is worth living and so sweet, huh grin

So there is no group of people using it yet you want to impose it on others.

Abeg what's the difference between you and your church people that you are criticizing?

Meanwhile true Christians don't lay curses on people and for your information hell simply means grave so all dead people goes there!🙂

Of course you are disturbed that you've found a Bible believer who won't insult, curse or condemned you to Hell so you now realize something is different from the usual religionist claiming Christian.
Well the message i have passed is clear:

You geoworldedu knows nothing about the Bible and the God of the Bible you're only following what misinformed churchgoers told you!🙂

The marginalisation of the Babalawo did not occur by accident. It emerged from layered historical, cultural, and psychological transformations that reshaped society over generations.

1. Colonisation Deliberately Delegitimised Indigenous Authority

European missionaries and colonial administrators recognised a fundamental truth: spiritual systems are central to social organisation. Undermining indigenous belief structures would destabilise the broader civilisation.

Consequently, traditional systems such as Ifá, Orisa traditions, ancestral rites, herbal knowledge, and divination practices were systematically discredited. These were not treated as alternative worldviews but were instead labelled “pagan,” evil,” primitive,” or “superstitious.

This campaign was less about theology and more about governance and control. Once the Babalawo lost legitimacy, communities lost a central pillar of intellectual, moral, and spiritual guidance.

2. Missionaries Replaced Traditional Custodians with Foreign Clergy

Prior to colonial intervention, Babalawo occupied multifaceted roles within society. They were not merely spiritual figures but also functioned as judges, historians, healers, philosophers, and advisers to rulers.

Missionary institutions introduced new religious authorities priests, pastors, and catechists who gradually supplanted indigenous custodians. Over time, loyalty shifted away from ancestral institutions toward foreign religious structures.

This transition altered not only spiritual allegiance but also cultural identity and social hierarchy.

3. Western Education Fostered Cultural Shame

Colonial education systems amplified this transformation by reshaping how younger generations perceived their heritage. Children were frequently taught that their ancestors were idol worshippers, that their culture was “backward,” and that their spiritual traditions were demonic.

The consequences were profound. Such narratives cultivated generational self-rejection and cultural alienation. A society conditioned to distrust or disdain its roots inevitably weakens its connection to indigenous knowledge systems.

A people distanced from their heritage struggle to sustain confidence in their own intellectual and spiritual traditions.

The neglect of the Babalawo is best understood not as simple abandonment but as the outcome of deliberate historical processes political, religious, and educational that restructured authority, belief, and identity.

Understanding this history is essential for any meaningful reflection on cultural continuity, restoration, or reinterpretation.
