Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: Ibadan

Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager will oversee end to end warehouse operations within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) division, ensuring efficient inventory management, timely distribution, process optimization, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate must have solid experience managing high volume FMCG warehouses and leading teams in a fast paced operational environment.

Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Management
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure effective warehouse layout and space utilization for optimal operational flow.
• Implement and monitor SOPs for all warehouse processes.
• Ensure FEFO/FIFO compliance for all FMCG products.
2. Inventory Management & Accuracy
• Oversee accurate stock records through cycle counts, monthly stock reconciliations, and variance investigations.
• Ensure real time posting of stock movements in ERP/WMS.
• Monitor product shelf life, report expiries/damages, and drive stock optimization initiatives.
3. Distribution & Logistics Coordination
• Coordinate outbound logistics and delivery scheduling for customers, distributors, and internal branches.
• Ensure timely dispatch of orders and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with logistics partners to resolve delivery challenges and improve turnaround time.
4. People & Performance Leadership
• Lead, train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff including supervisors, storekeepers, and loaders.
• Plan staff schedules and manage performance to meet operational goals.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
5. Compliance, Quality & Safety
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Guarantee proper handling and storage of FMCG products to maintain quality.
• Conduct safety audits, equipment checks, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse.
6. Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare and analyze warehouse performance reports (inbound/outbound, inventory accuracy, stock levels, wastages, etc.).
• Develop and implement KPIs to measure warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Provide periodic management reports and recommendations for operational improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years proven experience in FMCG warehousing, including at least 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and stock handling requirements.
• Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Sage, etc.).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Interested candidate must reside within Ibadan for effective operational support and availability.
