AyobamiOluwole:Now it is obvious |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Gshems: 5:45pm On Feb 25 |
HawkTuahGirl:leave him ó. Your panel go break before you reach house |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AyobamiOluwole: 7:15pm On Feb 25 |
HawkTuahGirl:Seriously I didn’t know it’s 3 jinko 530 panels. Ha. That’s impossible. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AyobamiOluwole: 7:19pm On Feb 25 |
dollarnaira:What is obvious? That he talks out of point most times for me to say he is never mute? Or that you have met me before to agree that he is older than me? If at all he is older, Someone that old won’t be that much of a loquacious fellow. Besides I didn’t mean to be rude. If he or you takes it that way, I am really sorry about that remark. @bassdow, you are a great guy. Apologies. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AyobamiOluwole: 7:20pm On Feb 25 |
Gshems:That’s right. I was wrong about that I thought it’s a single panel. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 12:10am On Feb 26 |
AyobamiOluwole:Even a single panel of that capacity could be stresful to a lot of people. Not everyOne has same level of stress tolerance + once again, you dont know his location hence can't tell what route He would go through. There often are reason I ask many questions before responding aTimes |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 12:16am On Feb 26 |
AyobamiOluwole:it's actually very very possible BUT then again, depending on who's involved and willing to put in the effort. Coming from Ojo alaba to Atan actually is very straightForward as One just need those cart pushers to push them from SHOP to the motor park, negotiate with drivers (not cheap) and board same bus while they load it on top the Bus. That bus takes you direct to Agbara where you get another to Atan last busStop. You could even be lucky to see the one going straight to Atan last busStop. Take maruwa to your destination. Any other route is long Journey. |

rayvelez:Non for now, somebody said the 2 panel won't charge the Lithium well. |

AyobamiOluwole:Actually, it doesn't matter who's OLDer and who's not. You need not appologise for stating a someWhat obvious fact irespective of if you were (unintentionally) rude as You're likely to break an egg while making an omelette. A times you need one to achieve the other. As for the bolded, I actually appreciate it more when people are straight, direct, and honest. No sugarCoating or unnecessary damage controls. if I'm great person, I know already hence doesn't matter what anyOne thinks. As per your complaint about how much I |

dollarnaira:That's the point, how did I start!!! I never started like him or you, I had the fundamental knowledge of these things, from secondary school self, and I am a student of Physics with foundation in electronics. By God's grace, I will graduate from Futa this year from dept of Physics with electronics. And pls, inform the guy that he can also loss part of his 500k via DIY route, we all did. Let me come and be going. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Oshomo12(m): 5:09am On Feb 26 |
Gshems:Kindly stop this your advice, Na DIY forum we dey, there is no harm in trying!! We can all find out the hard way, the only way. |

dollarnaira:I don't really mind seeing cells and terminals straight up. Nothing wrong in my view as long as it works. I'm interested in learning even If I don't ever sell or produce. That's my own personal view tho, I know other people might not like such. That being said, I would prefer a more composed setup covers the battery and holds the components. I'm happy to explore options. I appreciate the information and help provided so far. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by teejx13: 5:16am On Feb 26 |
Oshomo12:I get you boss. Thanks for the concern and warnings. I think it's important to be aware of risks in anything we are doing. That's why I came to ask instead of just taking what people have said and running to market to buy and connect. |

teejx13:You are welcome bro, I will give you mine own quote and point you to where and from whom you may buy, foc. It's not nice to loos money, 500k is not that easy to come by in this economy, you have tried. Setup 12v 2kva inverter, I prefer hybrid, no need for external charger, Sako inverter will be ok here, contact @Dam5reey 12v 4.2kwhr Lifepo4 contact @Valto, I don't know if he has lower capacity of 12v 500-590w solar panels, two connected in series is ok. protection box, get this also from @Dam5reey PV wires and MC4s (never do a cut and twist wire connection) get from @linov he sells his wires at a good price 2m max of 25mm2 wielding cable and ring connector for battery to inverter connection. I am not and will never be a fan of grid charging, that where things go south very quickly. infact, we are entering the season(onset of rain) when inverter charging of battery via grid will set getting fried. I prefer solar charging only, if and when Sun no too come out, use gen to charge. |

adimx:Bro, tell me about this battery pls, I posted it here some days ago and asked for user reviews but got no response. How good is it? Grade of cells? BMS? Does it have Bluetooth remote monitoring? |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by adimx(m): 2:01pm On Feb 26 |
tziz:The battery is good, but there is no Bluetooth monitoreing. The BMS can handle 150amps current without issues. Its a good buy at that price. The likes that have bluetooth monitoring is from 450k above. |

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie looking at having my first installation. So I got the contact of someone who installed for my cousin. Here is a list of what he quoted. Please I'd love you all to help me to know if I'm getting value for my money. He intends buying felicity inverter. How durable is felicity? Which inverter would be best to install? I keep seeing itel inverters? Are they durable? As regards the list, I noticed no charge controller, would that be needed too? Is the amount being charged not too high for a 3kva setup? Please house help me. Thank you all.

adimx:Oh that's great. I wanted to purchase 230Ah Henry LiFePO4 battery cos a friend purchased the 100Ah type and it has Bluetooth monitoring for a very good price. The 230Ah isn't even upto 400k. Unfortunately, Henry Energy only has 100Ah and 150Ah in stock in Nigeria, telling me others will Com in 2 months. |
