Already on Zedcrest, please what’s the app for paramount ?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:54am On Feb 25
Spartacus has entered the market; time to buy more and double down. (Bear has arrived.)

They don't have a holding period; try Zedcrest or Paramount.
Please I’d like to ask your opinion, which would you go for

1 Spread 5m across 4 different fund managers now and subscribe to Zrosk in May

Or

2 Subscribe to Zrosk for 5m now and subscribe to the other 4 in May

My other 4 options (Zedcrest, Zenith ESG, Zenith Balanced fund, Paramount)

Been using Risevest Naira Vault for at least 2 years now without issues. It's why I was initially surprised when I first joined the MMF thread and realised there's was little to no mention of it.

I think skepticism about SEC licencing is what led people to be skeptical which quite frankly makes sense. Still using them till today and in my opinion worth considering. This obviously isn't an endorsement as I expect that you do your due diligence, I'm just sharing my experience.
But the interest & capital for risevest is locked till maturity date right?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 12:05pm On Feb 25
Option 1 is better to minimize risk. Keep 1M in MMF for quick cash.

Ok thank you, which MMF do you suggest ?
Re: Equity Investment. by Uberchic1: 12:10pm On Feb 25
I used Risevest in 2025 and enjoyed the 25% flat rate returns for 8 months with interest paid monthly. But now, 25% p/a interest applies only if you lock for 1 year. And with tax deducted, your 25% returns is really around 22% or 23%. Much lower if you lock for less than 1 year. But they're legit. You get returns monthly, tax deducted monthly, and withdrawal of unlocked funds is done within 1-3 days.

Bluearrow:

Yes. But I typically lock just for 30 days then reinvest with profit every 30 days. At the time I think the rate for a 30 day lock and a 1 year lock was the same. This allows me the flexibility to withdraw my funds should I need it at any time. The rates however differs now. Still stick to the 30 day lock as disparity in rates between locking for 1 month and 1 year in my opinion isn't too significant for me to choose the later. (With a 5M capital 1 month is 22.5% while 1 year is 25%)

The CSCS and CHN are for trading stuff; you don't need that for the equity fund. The address stuff is archaic; you can ignore it, and you will be on level 2. Furthermore, LV3, you can only withdraw 1m maximum. I don't have any intention to invest aggressively in it, I'll just play around.
I didn't know it wasn't necessary cos how was I supposed to know when they pegged my account tier 1? You know I wouldn't want to have an issue withdrawing my money only to be informed that I can cos my registration wasn't completed. Maybe you need to watch out for that cos they may come for you for incomplete registration when you want to liquidate although time shall tell sha.

Anyways, I have successfully done everything they asked for including the map addressing confirmation.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 1:11pm On Feb 25
They approved my address after sending an email; I'm in tier 3 now. I had the same experience with SkyeBank.

Cardinal stone equity red is becoming consistent for days now. Even when others record considerable green, they will record very little green. I don't understand what's happening with them. I'm considering moving some funds from Cardinal to zedcrest.

I had no issues when I registered on the app. You could reach out to them via mail.

Although the afrinvestor 2.0 app is for trading on the NGX and other kinds of investment (CPs, TBills etc).

If you're looking for fund management (mmf, equity and the likes), they use another app called PlutusNeo for that.

I was surprised because the mutual fund is not in the afrinvestor app. Is this PlutusNeo for afrinvestor too?

Re: Equity Investment. by playces: 9:08pm On Feb 25
If where u are going to starts recording Red nko. Remember that it was Cardinal stone marketing that opened this thread.

People have said here taht just share your funds among 3 different fund managers.

Yes that is what I want to do
I want to make the fund managers 3, I was only using 2. I'm just moving part of the funds, a larger part still remains in Cardinal stone.

Due to the unpredictable nature of equity investing, I kindly recommend sticking with at least two or three fund managers who are at the top of their game. Shifting money around could impede progress. Right now, I'm using Zrosk, which has my largest capital, with Zenith and Paramount serving as stabilizers. But the most important thing is the annual returns. God bless us as we invest diligently.
