The reason for the wide margin is simple!
A larger percentage of Russian soldiers fighting in the war are condemned prisoners, African migrants and other mercenaries whose bodies do not need to be repatriated if they die in the war fronts.
Russia do not need to do any state burial for them.
Unlike Ukraine that will account for every soldier sent to fight either dead or alive, citizens or foreign fighters.

Above all, this war will go down as one of the most needless and senseless wars in modern history.

Soldiers killed on the battlefield are typically not the ones returned in this matter - unless Russia is in the business of picking up dead Ukrainians from the field. Russia tortures and murders Ukrainians that surrender – those are the bodies it returns.

Russia doesn't want the bodies of their dead soldiers back. Bodies identified means paying the families of their dead which is widely known they can't afford to do that so they rather declare them missing in action.

This propaganda is now stale, every time a thousand to 30s or 20s. If it is so how many soldiers remains fo Ukraine.It is no more a secret how Russia are loosing their men and many mercenaries especially Africans in unnecessary war they started four years ago.
A war boasted by Russia to last 3 days is now over four years.

Dont mind them . They want us to believe that Russia is always winning when everyone knows the reverse is the case. If they have been killing the Ukrainians in that ratio then there wouldn't be any soldier left in Ukraine to fight.
