How Iran Mosquito Fleet Is Giving US Sleepless Nights by Biodun556(op):
Iran’s “Mosquito Fleet” Strategy in the Persian Gulf 4. Iran has developed an unconventional naval strategy known as the “Mosquito Fleet.” Instead of relying only on large warships, Tehran has focused on deploying hundreds — possibly thousands — of small, high-speed attack boats designed to challenge much larger naval forces in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz. What Is the “Mosquito Fleet”? The term refers to a large number of small, fast, heavily armed boats operated mainly by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGC Navy). These boats are: Equipped with anti-ship missiles, Capable of speeds between 50 to 110 knots (approximately 90–200 km/h,), Small enough to maneuver quickly and approach larger vessels. Because of their speed and size, they can rapidly close in on larger warships, launch missiles, and retreat before facing a full counterattack. Swarm Tactics: The Core Strategy. The most important feature of this fleet is the number. Estimates suggest Iran may operate 1,500 or more such boats, with some reports placing the number between 3,000 and 5,000. The idea is not individual strength but coordinated mass assault. Using swarm tactics, dozens or even hundreds of boats can attack simultaneously from multiple directions. The objective: Overwhelm radar systems Saturate missile defense systems, and Force expensive defensive intercepts. Create confusion in naval formations. Modern warships are highly capable, but handling a massive number of fast-moving targets at once is extremely complex. Cost Asymmetry: A Strategic Advantage. One of the most significant aspects of this strategy is cost imbalance. A single Iranian fast attack boat may cost between $300,000 and $1 million. A U.S. destroyer can cost $3–4 billion. A full U.S. aircraft carrier strike group may exceed $10–13 billion in value. If even one major warship were seriously damaged or sunk, the financial and strategic impact would be enormous compared to the relatively low cost of the attacking boats. This is a classic example of asymmetric warfare — using cheaper, unconventional tools to challenge a superior conventional force. Recently, Iran has conducted naval drills in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, demonstrating coordinated swarm movements. Missile launches from fast boats, rapid dispersal tactics. These exercises signal Iran’s readiness to defend its coastline and to potentially disrupt maritime traffic in one of the world’s most critical oil transit routes. Strategic Implications The Mosquito Fleet does not replace conventional naval power—but it complicates it. For the United States and its allies, this means: Higher defensive readiness Increased surveillance in narrow waterways More complex engagement scenarios For Iran, it offers: Deterrence without matching large fleets ship-for-ship A lower-cost method of projecting power Leverage in any regional confrontation Final Assessment Iran’s Mosquito Fleet represents a calculated asymmetric strategy designed to challenge superior naval forces through speed, numbers, and missile capability. While the United States Navy remains one of the most advanced forces in the world, Iran’s swarm-based doctrine introduces operational complexity—particularly in confined waters like the Strait of Hormuz. In modern naval warfare, technology matters, but numbers, geography, and strategy can reshape the battlefield.

They don't need to get near. Each boat carries anti ship missiles

It will be difficult for US war ships including the two carriers to survive swam of drones, missiles, fleet of boats and sea mines. That is why US is delaying the attack by trying to get their calculations right if not over 10,000 crew members on board will die

Bro US Carrier don't travel alone
There is something called a battle carrier group
Combined with powerful satellites to see beyond any adversary

A typical group consist of 1 carrier, 1-2 cruisers, 2-3 destroyers, and 1 attack submarine, offering immense offensive air power (F/A-18E/F, F-35C) and Tomahawk missile capabilities, protected by advanced air, surface, and sub-surface defense

Before those mosquitoes leave their ports they would have been naturalized because US satellites are no joke

Now what happens after Iran exhaust all their drones and missiles will be total Annihilation of mullahs.

We saw what happened doing the 12 day war with Israel where Iran air space was completely over run
Now try it with US. They are just waiting for excuse to wipe out the mullah once and for all.

Then comes the people who will gladly execute those in ruling power when that door is knocked down.

To sum it up
Iran government don't even fear US invasion more than it's people that are waiting for right opportunity to gaddafi them
It's not that is not going to happen
it's just when and it is coming sooner than we thought.

Iran conditions may be different
Must of them are well educated, they only want freedom from this mullah terrorist regime.

After they are gone there will still be those sympathetic to the regime and they will probably fom insurgency to terrorise the good people of Iran same as Iraq after the fall of saddam but it won't last because must of the population are well educated.

It's suicidal for the Iranian IRGC because they'll just be sitting ducks for the Americans and Isrealis.

You want to go fight computers and AI enhanced lethal weapons with humans?

If US attacks Iran without retreating in 2 weeks, it would spell the end of Trump's tenure.

They knew now.
When Trump sends the first carrier to middle east.all Iranians defense was activated.BIG MISTAVE. Because US and Israeli satellite have already pin pointed there locations.
These attack will be less than the 12days war, that's y the Israeli are saying without the US now they can deal with Iran
