WriterNig:I can't help but notice this scene where the terminal show c++ and python code written together. Python to undo manipulation, and c++ just log out. At least better than just installing bunch of dependencies and call it decryption .

Dracula ( 2026) is a solid 7/10 for me. Captivating, sensational, tensed, Romantic and very colourful and yet it's horror. This is one thing i appreciate about classy movies. Their talent in capturing every of these moments in one movie. Nice and perfect casting, not doing too much and not trying to impress too much, Just straight to the point with a wonderful storyline that's straight to the point. Sometimes i wish horror movies like this came as a series for there are so much concept to open in this movie.

The dreadful is a solid 3/10 They should have Just casted an homecoming actor and actress if the storyline and concept of this movie was going to be vague and shallow with no meaning. How are you casting these wonderful main casts for a movie as shallow like this? The only reason i watched it all was because of the casts and nothing else.

Hell fire is a solid 8/10 for me. Now this is what i am talking about, making a great movie from a very simple concept. It's a simple storyline and yet very captivating scenes with wonderful casts, a very Christian traditional American hometown movie. And that wonderful song they played in the end gave me chills. I'm just a poor wayfaring stranger Traveling through this world below There is no sickness, no toil, no danger In that bright land to which I go I'm going there to see my father And all my loved ones who've gone on.

OhBritannia:I was waiting for someone to drop a review first to confirm my suspicions cus the trailer wasn’t good and the only thing they promoted was the kiss between the GOT characters. |

Gone girl is a solid 9/10 for me. I am not surprise that the movie got an Oscar nomination and various awards.. Rosamund Pike should have won lots of awards for this movie because the way she played her role was not just being talented but being born to act. Peak psychopathic, highly manipulative, very dangerous and beautiful Evil. I am not surprised that the movie is a huge success because a Ben Affleck and a Rosamund Pike together will always produce greatness. I was very entertained.

The Secret Agent (aka O Agente Secreto) (2025) "I'm not a violent person. But this guy… I would kill him with a hammer. I'd smash his whole head with a hammer…" — Armando (Marcelo) The title is so deceptive. You see it and think, “high-stakes espionage flick,” but it’s far from that. As the film unfolds, tho, the title gradually begins to make sense. Armando (Marcelo), a technology professor trying to flee the Brazilian totalitarian regime of the 1970s, seeks refuge in a communist safe house in Recife. Living under false identities and navigating a world of informants and state-sponsored surveillance, he exists almost like a spy… almost like a secret agent!..... The film is genre-bending, but I’d lean toward calling it satirical political commentary with a hint of surrealism. There are some bizarre scenes, like a severed leg hopping about and the non-linear structure adds ambiguity. Still, the story is quite easy to grasp if you stick with it. Wagner Moura is such a gem of an actor. At this point, he is more Pablo Escobar than Pablo Escobar!, that’s how deeply people associate him with the role, because of how brilliantly he delivered that performance. Here, he gives a more subtle and controlled performance that quietly creeps up on you once the narrative lands. Do I think he deserves the Oscar? No. especially not after what Timothée Chalamet pulled off in Marty Supreme (2025). But if either of them wins, I’d honestly be fine with it. A fine watch for me, but a difficult… difficult recommend. It’s too niche, and the bloated runtime makes it a heavy chew. Still, this is my second film about the Brazilian totalitarian regime of the 1970s after "I’m Still Here (2024)". Loved that. Loved this. And I yearn for more 🤲🏿 7/10

Dracula ( 2026) 8.5/10 I just watched the most amazing Dracula story ever made, the movie go straight to the point from the beginning and show us something new that the past movies didn’t do. Everything was beautiful done from the casts, horror, music, storytelling, religion and the best of all “the Romance” which they hardly give us from the past movies The movie really show how depressed Dracula was after the death of his wife and after meeting her again………….The ending is just too emotional perfect.

The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025). I just want this war to end, so i can go to the sea and play with the sand...Hind Rajab I chased down this movie for months, and i sincerely wished i didn't, because it was just too heartbreaking to stomach 😩😩. This is the best intentional film of the last year btw, only if the Academy has the ⚽⚽.

Samistry2:Which day since the last 4/5 years you hear Paramount do really well for box office overall in a year? Their biggest IPs (Transformers, Mission Impossible) continue to underperform and they don't seem to know what to do with them. They've been running premium losses recently. They don't support or believe in originals no more and can't even make the old IPs they have successfully or remain relevant at the box office. Na Sonic dey save their blushes for now. Look at Avatar: The Last Airbender, something was scheduled to debut at theatres and somehow they pulled it off to streaming. This is a Paramount that has a dogsh!t release slate. Their slate for last year was wack, this year is even nonsensical. Skydance hasn't proven they can turn things around at Paramount and they're already running to get a far bigger and complex studio. If they're choking on Paramount how much more with WB that's a whole other problematic studio on its own. I fear they might just bring their shittiness and destroy WB, DC and HBO. Even the massive debt they'd incure ehn, how dem wan clear am when dem never even reduce the one they got at Skydance/Paramount merger. |

abduleez1:With the losses Paramount has been incurring and the gains WB has been making why doesn't WB buy Paramount instead? |

pu7pl3:WB has big debt to pay off from their AT&T days leading to the Discovery acquisition. In actuality, WB can easily buy Paramount, but who gives AF about a company that it's CEO doesn't even believe in and needs another company to grow. Besides, WB ain't in the game of acquisitions no more, the only few M&A they did recently was to buy small streamers to gain market entry in new overseas markets.....iirc that's in Turkey. Netflix doesn't feel the need to overpay for WB like the Ellisons are doing. Cos unlike Paramount, Netflix can afford to be on its own and it's massively successful with it's streaming business. With WB it's "a nice thing to have" not an absolute necessity as it is for Paramount. The only reason Paramount can bid for WB is because the CEO David Ellison is banking on financial support from his daddy— David Ellison, co-founder/owner of Oracle as well as being one of the richest man on earth. Also, they're also using financiers and borrowers as well as the rumoured Gulf states' Investment Funds' also putting money into the deal. Netflix has the cash flow to back it's bid and can fund it themselves. But ain't no one willing to massively overpay for it. Their shareholders hate the deal, that's why Netflix lost a significant amount of its worth during the bidding process. Now, news is up of Netflix letting go, and their stocks is up 10%. Why WB needs to sell? Well, David Zaslav was brought in primarily to clean up WB, repurpose debt, and reposition the company for growth and ultimately sell to the highest bidder. This is the problem of publicly traded companies. Their loyalty is to their shareholders and delivering "value" aka ROI to the investors. They give zero 4uk$ about fans or audiences. If they manage to get a CEO who gets it right in terms of content and programming for the general audience? Great. If not, they can always try someone else or just sell to the next best person. |

I never seen an entertainment company with a future so bleak and hopeless like Paramount. Look at the caliber of filmmakers and actors they work with. A bunch of right wingers with questionable past. They can't even attract top talents and hold on to them. Last time I checked, Taylor Sheridan dumped them and moved over to Universal. The Ellison boy knows Paramount is dying. Hence he's willing to overpay to get his hands on the ip rich WB. I heard they are making Rush Hour 4 because Donald Trump asked for it. Warner Bros future is in the gutter if this deal goes through.

Ellison pikin claimed he will be releasing 30 movies every year if he successfully acquires Warner Bros. ![]()
|
| Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by abduleez1(m): 11:02pm On Feb 27 |
BlackManta:We all know that 30 movies is dogshit lies. I don dey talk am since saying person wey never even drop half of 30 dey talk about that number. WB itself hasn't even released 15 films a year in a while. Highest na 13 films. So how Ellison wan complement with their useless slate. |
| Re: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by abduleez1(m): 11:14pm On Feb 27 |
BlackManta:Guy, the projects and directors and actors no even dey confidence. It just gets worse everyday. Ain't seeing people or projects that endears you to the company. No be the same people lost Tom Cruise their OG to Warner Bros with an overall deal. Him no go overpay keh?? Who no go panick with the shittiness that is happening at Paramount. That's why the Skydance acquisition was dirty cheap. If person tell me say them go use $8bn buy Paramount I go think say na joke. If at all anything they should be worth around $20bn. To tell you how far they've fallen. Expect massive layoffs at both companies, WB especially. People go too cry. The combined company would have a $100bn debt hovering around them. In the end this Paramount/WB might collapse with this massive debt and be available for sale in bits and pieces in a few years from now if this Ellison continues moving cluelessly like he's been doing. Na this kind of debt almost choke AT&T to death that they eventually merged to Discovery and gave WB part of their humongous debt. |

Good news I guess in respect of all the bleak news .... 🤔🥲 Next year, HBOMAX should have surpassed Disney+ in subscription numbers. 🤔
