That amount is huge for a "starter" And I will always go for pure equity... Or rather spread it across about three fund managers.... All the REDs so far has not affected my capital though..... Once it bounces back move your funds Mixology: |

I have close to that amount with Zrosk, as it is pure equity as well. LoriHamo: |

MTN and other companies have announced dividend payments to their shareholders. Hopefully, the market will gain traction, and we will see significant gains soon. |

Equity is a game of patience. It shouldnt be something you put in today and take out tomorrow because of fear. Records have shown that no matter what happen, the performance for previous years as a whole will always beat MMF. You dont judge equity by the performance of 1 day. That money has to stay at least a year for you to see growth. Judging by the screenshoot of someone here who invested 1 million into 3 funds during the good green days,he got about 7k interest on 1million in 1 day. If you had 15m in equity on that day,you would have made like #105,000. And this is what 8millions generally would have given you in a whole month in MMF Please stop looking at equity with the eyes of MMF, if you cannot play the long game or bear the red days, patiently wait for the money to balance up and then port back to MMF. Them no dey use fear dey equity, every thing would balance up and more before the financial year runs out. Mixology: |

princezzz:Good analysis Princess. You very spot on. |

Mixology:Chief, I know you are surprised at the loss, hence the reason you voicing out. (Let me make you smile) If you had made equivalent gains of your current loss, will you have reported to the house?) (That's on a lighter note; just kidding you, cheer up Chief) Truth is, you went into it aggressively, you could have test the waters before investing a huge chunk in it. However, you still didn't make any mistake if you have the patience to wait it out. You will eventually smile. As long as you haven't pull out your money yet, your current loss is regarded as "paper loss" not real loss. You only going through the motions of emotions right now such as fear, grief, regret, confusion etc. As long as you are calm and stay invested, it will all pass, you will smile again, I promise you. Once you get back you capital and you know you not fit for this type of emotional rollercoaster, please move back the money to MMF or just invest little you wouldn't lose sleep over. |

How is it going, bro? He will get used to the red with time or he should just move to MMF as you suggested. I really love red now. Beeron: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:24am On Feb 27 |
Zenith update: Balanced fund and ESG were slightly red. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 11:26am On Feb 27 |
EquityM:I'm good bro, And you, trust you doing very well today Chief. Regarding red: well, no sword goes to battle and comes back victorious without stain of red and lots of red on it. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:32am On Feb 27 |
I'm doing really well; is the NGX pension index making the stock prices pull back heavily? I do see a lot of profit taking almost everyday. Beeron: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by princezzz(f): 11:32am On Feb 27 |
@Beeron, aggressive can be subjective ooo😁. If i have like 200m even 100m, 15m no go be aggressive for equity, it will be considered light investment. Same way you dey tell person wey get 1m as total investment to just test equity with 100k. I just dey imagine if the market just stays green all through for like weeks on a stretch, you come dey see 7k even 5k sef for every 1m investment everyday, people will port to equity like mad, 1 red day and everybody will turn back to " eh shebi them talk am say equity dey chop person money"🫣🫣 Beeron: |

| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:40am On Feb 27 |
Did you finally sign up with Zrosk? I'm planning to top up aggressively with them by next week. princezzz: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 11:43am On Feb 27 |
I regret not joining earlier...it serves as a buffer for my capital... I mean the green's..... dammiecool: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 11:44am On Feb 27 |
EquityM:What is happening is most solid stocks were bought up aggressively by the pension guys, so much so that early investors in those stocks are now taking profit because the profit is too mouthwatering, once they are done. Another rally is sure because institutional money like the pension money will make the market even solid, and brings confidence to the market. It will seem like a bubble but Naaah, it's not. But anyway, ASI could reach 180 to 200 soon. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by LoriHamo: 11:46am On Feb 27 |
Nne ..he did balanced fund sef ... I did that with Cardinal stone and realized it is better going head-on into equity... All of them dey experience RED jareee.....but equity is still the "growth" engine princezzz: |

Team Zrosk, I'll DM you. princezzz: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 12:46pm On Feb 27 |
EquityM:This is good. Equity takes larger portion, Bond is very minute. The reason you see reasonable amount on bad days is because of that "money market" investment, however during Equity bearish season, that income from money market goes to into paying fund managers that's why you still see red. This balance fund is very unique. E make sense. It would have been top tier if they invested in bond more. I can take a shot at this. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 12:52pm On Feb 27 |
This is the ESG with a higher weight in bonds. Beeron:

EquityM:This one covers all areas of investment in Nigeria. What's the minimum to invest in this? |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 1:06pm On Feb 27 |
10k, it brings more than the balanced fund, but the balanced fund has less volatility. Beeron: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 1:13pm On Feb 27 |
EquityM:Thanks for this insight bro. I will test their payment and withdrawal procedures, if it is hitch free. I will invest but If i encounter stress. It has failed my test and will simply pass. Thanks again chief. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Bluearrow: 3:02pm On Feb 27 |
Beeron:Their withdrawal is likely to be slow too Their top up is the slowest among all the fund managers I have used so far. |
