Is it in use currently?

The soakaway is in use but the other one in form of ring is not in use. I made a mistake of not using the existing one for the second building and converting to biodigester. I dug another one because the existing one can't serve the 2 buildings

Alright is do able, but this’s how it works !

The conventional septic tank will not be useful any more but we retain the soak away i. e the ring type .

Then we construct digester box and then digester the process to your existing soak away.

And what’s the nature of the land swampy or firm ?

Method of construction: block and hollow fill with weak concrete!

Once waste goes in and the bacterias decomposes it and a fresh water passes into the 2 second chamber, will the water be sucked into the ground or it has to be passed out of the compound?

It works both ways depending how the digester been constructed.
