When Peter Obi said he went to Bangladesh to learn how they improved their textile industry & discovered that tripling their power generation was the key, which made him go to Egypt to learn how they managed to improve their electricity, APC children of confusion were laughing at him. |

Laos with a population of 7 million is generating more electricity than Nigeria, 😂

![]() It was no rocket science that made it possible for those developing Nations. In Nigeria the sophisticated claims was all about "Rocket Science" which up till now has remained an Illusion. Remember the fake certificate holder said don't snatch and grab for him in his bid to grab another mandate in 2027 if he fails to provide 24hrs electricity after his first snatched mandate. |

TruthHurts1:They don’t know jack those guys. As a developing nation, we’re supposed to compare ourselves to other developing nations and learn how they were able to scale and grow. But agbadorians will want to copy first world nations that have long solved the problems we’re battling now. |

This is the handwork of useless leaders. Just imagine! These countries some foolish Nigerians look down on produce more electricity than Nigeria that's ruled by the mandate thief from Iragbiji. |

When you see a progressive nation, you can tell, from this simple statistics. Leadership is our problem but it seems Nigerians are OK with the bad treatment meted out to them by our bad Leaders. Nigerians are being denied constant electricity despite paying in advance for the service. As poor as Bangladesh used to be, they're seriously working towards lifting themselves out of the poverty bondage. Sooner than later, Nigerians would need visa with strict requirements to enter Bangladesh. When Obi visited Egypt for the power summit ahead of the 2023 elections, proferring a workable solution to the power sector, the gullible supporters of the apc lashed out at him, not knowing they're actually doing themselves. With or without constant electricity, obi isn't affected. Only humans would deliberately want to suffer themselves. The refineries he said he'd sell,if elected president is what the apc is now planning to sell. Yeye pipu |

40,000 GWH generated by Nigeria but most times you have only about 5000 GWH to be distributed to a country of over 200,000 million people. |
| Re: Power Generation: Nigeria Vs Selected Countries by Reference(m): 1:52pm On Feb 28 |
You look really hard to see what value democracy has added to the experience of the average Nigerian in terms of quality of life. That democracy is an important tool for development is without doubt. How we have managed to mess up ours is another thing. We simply cannot claim success and believe what we have done with democracy over the past 27 years and what we continue to do today and going forward is the right thing in the right way. There is just no tangible evidence. The average Nigerian continues to consider as every passing year and every past government as better. This is the classic definition of 'continuing in error'. Something is basically wrong. |

Even that 40,959GWH is contestable If we truly had that maybe, most Nigerians will be able to get average 10hours light per day When people sing on your mandate we shall stand, one begins to question which mandate they are signing about? What has improved since Tinubu got to power? |

Hmm, gonna do some research Bangladesh: Subsidises power, but the benefits don't go to the poor. Also, their economy is being strained by the subsidy Qatar: Not a fair comparison. Qatar produces 1.9 million bpd for a populaiton under 2 million people. That's why they can afford to improve and subsidise power, compared to Nigeria..1.6-1.8 million bpd for 230 million people Oman: Same issue as Qatar Laos: Doesn't subsidize electricty for everyone...their recent subsidy was for 1) houses using 300 kwh monthly, and was for 2) a period of time. For Nigeria 1.We need cost reflective tarrifs 2.We need to reduce power theft. Bangladesh : 4.8% power theft Qatar: zero Oman 2% Laos: 13% Nigeria 40% 3. Cost reflective tarrifs worked in Ivory coast and Ghana, why not NIgeria? |

Besides, probes by your administration absolved Obasanjo of any wrongdoing unless you have new information! |
