Iran is not Afghanistan . It is more difficult to conquer Afghanistan because it is a mountainous Terrain , whereas Iran is a plain field and cosmopolitan. The war strategies are different. It is easier to fight on the ground than in caves and mountains- this is why the Waziristan region of Pakistan remained ungovernable.
It was easier to conquer Libya as it is a plain terrain with desserts etc Moreso the majority of Iranian (people) especially the youth and future leaders want this regime gone. Iranians are stunted and cannot make use of their wealth( the country is like Nigeria with rich culture, proud history and wealth but bad leaderships)
