This kind of news is very painful and embarrassing for us as Nigerians. What this man did is wrong and it has serious consequences, not just for him but for the image of our country.

The truth is, many Nigerians abroad are doing well, working hard and making us proud. But when things like this happen, it gives foreigners the wrong impression about all of us. That is why we must continue to speak against fraud and criminal activities clearly and boldly.

As a leader, I believe the real solution is not just condemnation. We must focus on empowering our youths, creating real opportunities, promoting digital skills the right way, and teaching strong values of integrity and accountability. When young people see genuine opportunities at home, they will not be tempted to take dangerous shortcuts.

This is part of the movement I am building — a movement that stands for integrity, empowerment, and responsible leadership.

I urge you all to support my move. Together, we can change the narrative and build a generation we will all be proud of.

You don't need to dress all ostentatious to make believe you would do different from the others.

A leader is a follower and a follower is a leader. If you want to lead you start from the back and not from the front

When your JagaBandeet returned to Nigeria after forfeiting $460,000 did he not beg his way to be Lagos governor instead of Engineer Funsho Williams, who was later murdered before Fashola continued Tinubu’s master plan?

When Obasanjo was released from Abacha’s prison bankrupt, did Atiku not help the alaimore to get back on his feet before he was made PDP presidential candidate?

So don’t stress about this rogue. He will join Oshiomhole’s Assembly of Past Criminals, APC and he will be fine.
Engineer Funsho William 💔

A lot of things don go under the carpet for this country & crying for justice 🤔

99 days for the thief, but one day surely go be for the owner.

19 years in prison? Did he kill someone? That's unfair bro... I'm a Yoruba man, despite the fact that the person involved is Igbo, 19 years is too much for a fraud case... Dude definitely had a bad lawyer.
No wonder Nigeria deh stagnant 💔

If we deh punish bad behaviour for Nigeria ehn, many of this things called leaders nor go near the corridor of government 💯

Talk about American double standards

If in a personal transaction I defraud U, it's a civil matter.
But if a black man defrauds an American, it's a criminal case 😡
With all due respect sir, just stay away from any form of crime. Give 100,000 yards away.

To avoid long story that touch 👌

The moral lesson here is;

Stay 100,000 yards away from any form of crime to avoid long stories that touch.

If you must do the CRIME ehn, be also ready to do the TIME.

He's 40 already. So, he will be released when he's 60.

Wasted life.

If you tell them about the dangers of crime, they say you have no exposure. Now, see where their own exposure has led them.

Shame!

It's better than leaving the prison on a shorter sentence with nothing to fall back to. We're talking of roughly 6 billion naira here.
If the dude leaves the US after serving, it's bye-bye to anything jakpa because all serious jakpa countries will put him on red list.
Is it not better to endure the 19years and come out to enjoy the money? At least he will be 60 and can get a sweet 18year old girl as wife here in naija if he wish to and still enjoy his life to the fullest here in naija with that money.
I'm not supporting crime though

I agree with you completely. Leadership is not about dressing big or making noise — it is about service and humility.
I believe in leading from the grassroots, serving first before asking to be followed. That is the foundation of this movement.
I will value your support as we build something people-centered and different together.
