Hello,

Starting this canada journey is really tiring when I look at my CRS score of 434. Mind you, that score is master included from the UK.

Wait oh, is there any hope for us that does not have high score, fluent in french or into health care? Because it seems stem and engineering is obsolete in the pool of recent.

I have more that 3 years of maintenance engineering experience role back in Nigeria and am currently into Customer service in the Uk but I really want to try this canada PR. is there any hope with PNP of any province or someone must learn french. Am 34 this year with one son and my wife. Wifey have OND with 1+ year in the support sector in the UK.

If I think about the process, to evaluate my ECA or write Ielt go just tire me. My friend in canada will always say enter the pool, but if I check online, I will see people in the pool for more than a year with high scores not having ITA.

I NEED YOUR ADVICE AND BEST SUGGESTIONS - I was thinking about PHD in canada, but I really don't like any book right now or have the funds for that, and securing funding is another journey on it's on.

On God..

Why are we not looking into the trades category, it’s a gold mine and you can easily get a job albeit the 1 year experience

A CRS of 434 is low, I won’t lie to you.

You mentioned a PhD, but with that PhD, you need to ask yourself: how much will your CRS score actually increase? And is the PhD in an in-demand field that could make you eligible for a category-based draw once you get a job in that area or any PNP focused on people with PhD?

Those are the questions you really need to be asking

Pls house, what do you think

Hello house
I increased the amount for POF as a single applicant in my EE profile.
But I've gotten ITA can't edit it and I have just minimum pof.
Pls hope it's not misrepresentation?

I believe you should be good since you are the only applicant on your profile

but a little more than 16k would be good to have

IRCC checks the actual funds you have at the time of submitting your PR application, not the amount you initially entered in your EE profile.

As long as you actually have the minimum required funds ($16,000 CAD) when submitting your application, this is not misrepresentation.

I bought official study materials from Celpip, with practise tests and study guides.

You will struggle to find any great study materials that's free, it is by design and you ultimately have to put your money where your mouth is. Sorry.
Can you help me with the study materials?

Hello people
Please, i need your advise.

My sister is a nurse in Nigeria (Bsc nursing).
She has obtained 3 years of work experience and is under 29 years of age.

She's considering putting in for PR this year in Canada and, but an old friend who lives in Canada that she contacted said that Canada has silently stopped inviting offshore applicants and are focusing on PR applicants who are already in Canada.
Please, is this information true?

She has Crs score of 438(If she gets 8 on all band IELTS)

Please advice her.

I hope to hear from you soon

Kind regards.
Sometimes when you hear information from a friend, you have to tell yourself,

“Okay, let me go and verify what I’m hearing to see if it’s actually true.”

Nine times out of ten, it’s either not true or it doesn’t paint the full picture.

Yes, 438 is a low score. However, in healthcare which your sister qualifies for it might still give her a chance.

That said, based on the recent healthcare draws we’ve seen, it likely won’t be easy.

For example, on February 14, 2024, the Healthcare occupations draw had a CRS cut-off of 422.

On October 26, 2023, the Healthcare occupations draw had a cut-off of 431.

So 438 is competitive, but it’s still not very strong, especially looking ahead to 2026/2027 trends.

Maybe her friend didn’t tell her the full picture, or maybe the friend is just being pessimistic.

That said, she should still apply for PR this year in Canada and actively look for ways to increase her CRS score.

At 438 under healthcare, she has a chance but it’s still on the lower side for healthcare draws moving forward.

Is there anyone here in the Education category that has gotten their PPR after the category draw last year?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Zeemaan: 2:24am On Feb 28
Please can anyone interpret this?
Does it mean eligibility passed?

For more context, eligibility and security on the gcms shows "not started". Every other thing shows passed/completed.

Thanks.

Ayindesegun10:
Good morning everyone. I recently came across the express entry and it seems like something really promising. I evaluated my CRS score and it seems somewhat low (456) compared to what I’ve seen on this thread with people having wayy higher without having ITA. Additionally, I also happen to be in the list of demanded occupations, in the trade part. I have two years of experience working for US companies as a construction estimator, I have documented employment in this. Including pay stubs, taxes and pension contributions from my employer. Does this put me in a better condition than the general CRS draw? And also, I checked the last time a trade draw was done, the minimum CRS score was >500 which I think is extremely competitive for a trade draw. I also have a Masters Degree in a tech field and I contribute regularly to Data Science projects but not as a paid employment. Please how do I navigate my profile to get competitive? I started French lessons but it doesn’t seem like something I’d pass.
Please. I’m still waiting for a reply

Please I have a question about this distance from place of work and residential address

I worked in kogi ( from 2022 to 2023) & Awka (from 2023 to 2024). My current work location is in Enugu. The residential address I filled was just my address in Enugu. I didn't put the addresses i stayed in while in those states. I have submitted my application. Should I raise a webform?

Hello all, I got an ADR today asking for my proof of funds “Please provide updated and pertinent documentation issued by a financial
institution supporting your Proof of Settlement funds, including bank statements for the last 6
months for ALL of your bank accounts. Please note all funds must be liquid and immediately
accessible”

So I had it in fixed deposit in my account the whole time. It was a gift deed from my dad. Should I unfreeze it? That’s what they mean by liquid and immediately accessible right?
