There's an embargo over Iran presently no country on God's green earth can send help to them, their entire airspace is filled with fighter jets, Russian planes were sent back when they tried to pass through earlier today.
They wrapped their tail between their legs and baled to avoid the catastrophic missiles of F-35 lightnings⚡

Information reaching us is that the head of the snake has been cut off from among the living, his entire compound 😆 has been sunk beneath the Continental shelf....have you seen the picture or should I forward a copy?

How is it supposed to be major concern to Nigeria? Nigeria has her own crude oil, the same way she has her own refinery.

The prices will affect Nigeria. If there is a global economic slowdown as a result of the war (which is inevitable if the war is escalated), demand for crude will go down ultimately and that will hurt Nigeria.

In the short term though, government will benefit in terms of increased oil earnings will Nigerians will pay the price in terms of increase in prices of petroleum products.

Not likely, petroleum prices will go up which should be good news for Nigeria but we know that Nigeria is not a normal country so let's not count on that
The west might be forced to remove embargo on Russian oil. Other countries like Canada and Venezuela would have to increase production.
This should be the biggest oil windfall for Nigeria in recent history. Let's hope we don't waste it.

You are not making any sense at all. There is a working Refinary at home, price can be negotiated with Dangote to prevent higher price if we Total depend on import, then your post would have made sense

Nigeria has her own oil supplies and Dangote commissioned his pipelines from the Niger Delta to his refinery some time ago. So what are you blabbing about huh

Obviously there's an ongoing regional war going on therefore, commercial ships CANNOT be allowed through the Strait of Hormuz. Any ship captain and his crew members with common sense will stay CLEAR of that region. Oil prices will start inching up north if this shock and awe war situation on Iran persists further than planned.

Even several commercial ships were sunk by German U-boats during WW2 far away from German soil in the Atlantic Ocean and more. Some Nigerians lost their lives in some of those U-boat attacks.

Crude oil is priced based on international benchmarks, so you do have some valid points as the average Nigerian on the street level (just like in several countries of the world) will have to pay more for a gallon of gasoline. More revenues for the oil-producing countries though BUT citizens of countries will pay more if the regional war by the United States and Israel with Iran persists.

Expectedly. Ships to divert. Even though costlier in terms of distance and fuel, there are very safe alternatives to mitigate the disruptions:

Suez Canal - Connecting the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea, allowing ships to bypass Africa.

Malacca Strait - Between Malaysia and Indonesia, connecting the Indian Ocean to the South China Sea.

Bab-el-Mandeb Strait - Between Yemen and Djibouti, linking the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. Except the Houthis block it in solidarity when Iran, vessels can ply the route.

Panama Canal - Connecting the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean, allowing ships to bypass South America.

Northern Sea Route - This is a shipping route along Russia's Arctic coast, offering a shorter alternative to the Suez Canal for some routes.

Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) - A multimodal transport system connecting China to Europe via Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey.

Cape Route (Around Africa) - User when the Houthis disturbed last year. It is a longer route around South Africa, often used when other routes are inaccessible.

In all, Iran will suffer much more economically. The economy is in coma and with such huge cost of prosecuting such a war against the Americans and Israelis at the same time, it will be devastating, especially more to the citizens, who recently revolted because of the bad state of the Iranian economy.
