Malacca Strait - Between Malaysia and Indonesia, connecting the Indian Ocean to the South China Sea.

Bab-el-Mandeb Strait - Between Yemen and Djibouti, linking the Red Sea to the Gulf of Aden. Except the Houthis block it in solidarity when Iran, vessels can ply the route.

Panama Canal - Connecting the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean, allowing ships to bypass South America.

Northern Sea Route - This is a shipping route along Russia's Arctic coast, offering a shorter alternative to the Suez Canal for some routes.

Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Middle Corridor) - A multimodal transport system connecting China to Europe via Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey.

Cape Route (Around Africa) - User when the Houthis disturbed last year. It is a longer route around South Africa, often used when other routes are inaccessible.

In all, Iran will suffer much more economically.
