My favourite midfielder.

A very good second half performance from the team. The introduction of Pedri gave us huge boost in quality and Lamine Yamal excellent hatrick was the cherry on top cake.

Why isn't flick starting casado? We shouldn't throw away our slim advantage and waste our strength cause of an almost improbable comeback in a competition we won last season. The focus should be on laliga and going as far as possible in the UCL

You can't blame Casado too much. His problem is a combination of psychological and skill issues. I've explained that Dejong is the better player overall but as a DM, he beats Dejong. Ability wise, for Casado, no matter his performance, a single mistake or slight deep in form, and he'll find himself behind better players in Pedri, Dejong, Bernal, Garcia and even Olmo for the CM/DM position.

Last season when Casado was doing fine, immediately Dejong was fit, he was dropped to the bench. This happened after Barca lost to Leganes or Sociaeda last season. Dejong can drop stinker after stinker and will still start next game. Casado does not have that kind of luxury. No matter what he does, he'll never be first choice CM/DM at Barca. He knows this too deep down. He's like Sergi Roberto.

Verdict: He needs to leave!

Xavi used him well enough but don't know what flick is doing with him.

We ain't even considering him as a Midfield option.

Gavi is too adaptable to suffer. If he's back and fully fit. Aside Casado who's already a centre back in Eric Garcia, Olmo is the one who'll suffer because Gavi brings, control, chaos, duelling etc. He can play AM, DM, CM, RM, LM. I'm pretty sure he can do a job at RB.

Normal level, a fully fit Gavi should send Dejong to Dutch league where he belongs.

The main issues are our defence and highline strategy are holding us back. We didn't replace inigo, our supposed best CBs are a doctor and one who is error prone when you compare that to Gabriel and saliba with good backups and raya who's probably the best goalie in England you see the difference. Even the Newcastle game has got many culers shaking on social media just because of our backline
