As a Christian who believe our God does only good at all times, when we get any and tell someone "God punish you or it will not be well with you." To which "god" are we offering this prayer, "the Christian God or to the Traditional God we do not regard?"

The Christian God said about Jesus:

“This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved. Listen to him.” Matthew 17:5

And Jesus commanded his followers:

“You heard that it was said: ‘You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those who persecute you, so that you may prove yourselves sons of your Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise on both the wicked and the good and makes it rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those loving you, what reward do you have? Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing?  And if you greet your brothers only, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing? You must accordingly be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect" Matthew 5:43-48

So if anyone is CURSING his neighbor for any reason whatsoever surely such a person is not expecting Jesus' father to grant it nah!😟

I'm asking think cos I'm wondering how Christians survive in Lagos, most especially those that have vehicles.😂😂😂 Cursing in Lagos, for instance, is seen as a form of greeting amongst road users, most especially.

Thousands of different groups claiming Christians but the real Christians have our own group though we are the most hated of all religions we have our own group name that's recognized globally!🙂

Definitely, The Lord God, of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Christians) is The Only God. All other idols are the gods of men are fake and territorial which is why they are many like cars and phones

It is Written the the curse causeless shall not come. So, it is permitted to curse on good and right reasons. And that is why we saw Noah, Jacob, Elisha, Paul cursed those who did evil to them. And God, backed it.

So, it is not 100% don't curse.

So, it is only Christians who are in Lagos?

I quoted Jesus God's only begotten Son please quote who taught you to curse people so we can know the person in whom you put your faith but as for the son of God he said his own disciples must not curse anyone be it friend or foe! Matthew 5:43-48; Luke 6:27-28; Romans 12:14

Please quote the person who taught you that it's OK to curse people after God's only begotten Son has given us orders never to curse people again!🙂

Don't be unreasonable about this issue for Christ never Said you must not curse anyone no matter what. He even cursed the fig tree after He Said this.

So, every reasonable person gets that He is even reaffirming what we teach our children which is do not open your mouth anyhow and curse someone.

And it is exactly the same as people calling God's Name up and down for nothing in violation of The Law of don't take Lord's Name in vain. And I have not seen you say that God Said that no one should call His Name.

“But I say to you who are listening: Continue to love your enemies, to do good to those hating you, to bless those cursing you, to pray for those who are insulting you." Luke 6:27-28

There is still room to curse people shey?😀

Oya quote Jesus nah and show me where he permitted his disciples to lay curse on people that's all.

the same God that blesses is the same God that punishes..there is no separate God for good and another for evil. There is only one God and power in the universe.. who has the final say. The name is only what is different.

The story of solomon comes to mind, God asked solomon "What do you want me to do for you,?" and Solomon in his kind heart asked God to give him wisdom to govern his people. it is not everybody that asked for wisdom, some people ask for the life of enemies. and when they do, God will grant it. our wish is Gods command....
