All those ones are not their problem.... their problem has been locked away somewhere in sokoto while the others will never rule Nigeria or breakaway from Nigeria so they have no worries any more...all this one's no be problem for their side. . |

The terr***sts want peace according to the NSA Whether we like it or not, there are (terrorists) in Nigeria who want peace. They are our brothers. We must seek for dialogue and understanding (with the terrorists). |

Even though the report generously skipped citing any formal authority for its speculation, such a development is hardly shocking, it falls squarely within the realm of “seen-it-coming.” That said, the safety of schoolchildren must outrank every other consideration on the priority list. If there is even a whiff that the environment may be compromised by rampaging banditry, then schools should be temporarily shut while security agencies do what they are paid (and prayed) to do. And with El-Rufai currently under lock and key, one would at least hope that sensitive security matters remain… appropriately less dramatic this time around. |

PBAT should start removing State Governors in those States under terrorists attacks and appoint Military administrators.. that way, the Governors will seat up. The failure and collapse of Governance in Nigeria is because of useless, inactive State Governors who have no love or compassion for their people. With all the security votes, revenues, taxes from citizens, what are they doing to protect lives and properties in their States? Absolutely nothing. |

Nigeria is about to happen to these young ones in Kwara State, at this early stage of their lives. May we never have a president as clueless as Ebola Tinubu. |

owobokiri:The thing is, both you and the North and even the SOuth west are all alike. Your governments have been running sharing of national cake economy...yes, even people like Obi, tinubu , gej, buhari, etc. Because of that we don't have a conducive environemnt for job creation, which is why we have bandits in the North and people like the seat at home geng in the SE....which people like you were defending. Omo, I am not here to mock you or defend tinubu. If your region has bandits and people who use guns to threaten you, that means your local and national leaders have failed. You guys laugh at people who shout that we should stop relying on oyel...and support populist leaders who promise you roads and electicity for all. You no wan vote your milleis and LKYs It is not time to laugh, it is time to weep. ANd yes, the North is responsible for the problem it has, but the East and South west too have big issues. Even the agbero issue in SW...na disaster waiting to happen Make we dey stop laughing and start asking our leaders quesitons. If all the names we call up and down on nairaland, including TInubu, Atiku and Peter obi had actually done any sane work, ya think there would be security crisis? And don't accuse me of laughing...the sit at home and bandit, and kidnapping and so forth makes me upset. |

flokii:The better way is for Nigerians to stop paying ransom. That way, the funding these bandits get for their weapons would be starved. But most nigerians no dey gree. |

nairalanda1:That is not in line with the international humanitarian laws.. every citizen is entitled to security and freedom by whatever means possible. Even combatants have rights when captured in battle, that's when you talk of 'prisoners of war' and countries exchanging captured soldiers or deceased soldiers. There are rules of engagement in warfare. The real problem here is why our leaders are granting amnesty and pardon to killers and terrorists. This menace can stop if our people want it to stop, that's the fact. |

| Re: Kwara Students May Miss WAEC, NECO Exams As Bandit Threats Force School Closures by nairalanda1(m): 5:39pm On Mar 02 |
flokii:NO, I don't support amnesty for killers and terrorists. Plus, if you are supporting payment of ransom in name of humanitarian laws, you are supporting the bandits long term to get arms and ammo. Same thing with any government that pays them ransom. |
