The odu was 50k when it first came out, then 25k and now 40k( 25k sub + one time 15k installation fee)

That's what MTNN just did with FibreX.

You asking as if you have all of them available in your location.

While G5F is Wifi 7 capable, it is only going to truly work as expected when paired with suitable IDU, but that's not the case because that would be expensive. The G5F remains the best ODU Airtel has fielded.

If you do have Huawei in your location, I suppose you should go for it as it has the best combination of ODU/IDU. That is if they have not changed the specific devices as they have changed ZTE.

On their site, 100MB is listed as 21k. And if it’s truly MB and not Mb, then you’re getting the right speed.

Actually we have all 3models available zte zlt and Huawei I was asking since I know the G5FA is a G5F downgrade so particularly I was interested in knowing if the new G5FA is wifi 7 capable just for future proofing so still I want to know if G5FA has wifi 7(be) of not

I have the M30 too...can you please explain exactly how you did this with the ZTE ODU?..or preferably with a picture of your connection to it

Nothing technical, just disconnect the idu from the poe powerbank and connect the cable into the m30, thats all.

Are you using Airtel m30 or just a generic m30 because I have one and I don’t think it will work unless maybe if unlocked. I’ve attached my Airtel m30 picture. Please clarify

So i have been following the thread for awhile now and i have learnt a lot from all of u. I also want to give a small update I just discovered. So i have this m30 mifi that has wan port and i decided to use it in place of the idu so as to reduce the bulk and battery consumption when moving it around. Lo and behold, it worked like a charm and the battery now lasts way over 12hrs since it's only the odu that's now connected to it. So basically, the idu was the main culprit on the power bank since it uses dc power. This also means, if u have any mifi that has a wan port on it, doesn't matter if it's mtn or airtel, it will work.

This odu is one of the best,I wished I can see this one to buy., the 2.8ghz that is not working is affecting me seriously , does it use a big battery or normal one like the zlt .. hw many hours does it use

Unfortunately the huawei version is scarce or not even available again. The ups is the same capacity as the zte [5000mah(×2)] I use only the odu on the ups and it lasts for more than 7hrs when fully charged. Then I have a separate ups for the idu

All M30s are the same. You just need to find someone who can tweak it for you. I have a tweaked one and can sell it to a member of this thread at 15k.

The poe delivers 2.5gb and wifi 7 has nothing to do with Ethernet. Both the g5f and g5fa both use the same idu that is just wifi 5, so the wifi 7 doesn't matter for now. The Huawei is the most balanced

This is actually the best value for money i still can't believe why MTN charging this high on Fibre to home it doesn't make sense at all
