Nigerians Will Massively Vote for Me If I Contest For Presidency – FCT Minister, Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says he is confident of winning the presidency if he decides to run.

Speaking during a media chat on Monday, the former Rivers State governor said his popularity and achievements in office give him an edge.

“Nigerians still love me, and if I run for the presidential election, they will vote for me massively,” he stated.

Wike added that his record as governor and current FCT Minister speaks for him and insisted that even if the recent FCT council election is repeated, his loyalists would still win.

As far as Nigerians are concerned, he currently doesn’t belong to any political party. He’s been expelled from the PDP, though he now floats a rogue outfit called Wike & Co Caretaker Committee Ltd, fraudulently parading themselves as PDP members.

Meanwhile, despite serving as a minister under an APC administration, the APC itself appears hesitant to fully embrace him because of his political toxicity, almost like dining with the devil using a very long spoon.

The signs have always being there and that's the main reason behind his fallout with Seyi Makinde.
