Exam cancelled at University of Calabar after student says Holy Spirit prompted her to confess leaked answers.

According to accounts circulating among students, the mistake occurred at the start of the examination when candidates realised that the answers were included on the same sheet as the questions.

Exam disrupted by unexpected confession

Despite noticing the error early, the students reportedly remained silent and proceeded to write the examination without raising any alarm.

The situation reportedly took an unexpected turn about five minutes before the end of the exam when a female student stood up to alert the invigilators about the error.

Witnesses said the student explained that she could no longer keep quiet about the situation and felt compelled to speak up.

Following the disclosure, the examination hall descended into confusion as invigilators verified the claim and confirmed that the answers had indeed been provided alongside the questions. The examiner was immediately informed, and the examination was subsequently cancelled.

Department orders cancellation and fresh assessment
Students were instructed to stop writing and submit their scripts, while departmental officials announced that a new date would be fixed for a fresh examination.

The incident has since sparked widespread debate among students on academic integrity, personal conscience, and collective responsibility within examination settings.

As of the time of reporting, the university authorities had not issued an official statement on whether disciplinary action would be taken against the examiner or if further investigations would be conducted into the circumstances surrounding the error.

Why are you angry that she is doing the right thing? Do you know that even if she didn’t voice out when the examiner is marking he will cancel everything and they will rewrite it?

God open door for you and you use your hand to close it....

To them, the mistake was an answered prayer and their miraculous god has come through for them and she's the devil trying to fight their breakthrough

The lecturer isn’t daft but he could print answers with the question papers

Might be error when questions are submitted alongside the marking guide.

Samples of questions are always included with the scripts so the examiner will still know.

As for the girl, she did the right thing even though her classmates would be mad at her.

Otilo for lecturer, HoD and any other person directly involved. The lecturer may be suspended if care is not taken. The others may be placed on half salary. The HoD is supposed to vet question papers after submission. If had done this properly, they should have spotted the mistake or anomaly on time.

She deed a good thing , that's an example of a mind with that like Christ. Meanwhile, at the end , the invigilator or the Lecturer in charge of that paper would still find out during marking
