In financial matters, sound and solid structure is far more important than chasing higher earning,
All I'm after now is fund retention and preservation with reasonable growth,
too much analyss will always lead to paralysis, cardinalstone will always be my winning team,I'm no longer interested in anyother platform for now so long as C'S keeps delivering.

I'm no longer interested in YTD%, all I'm after now is a consistent, reputable and stable platform, my financial mental health and peace of mind is my utmost priority, the era of experimenting my funds with all these unserious fund manager's has come to an end,
it's Cardinalstone or Cardinalstone.
Yes everyone should do the one they are comfortable with. I am staying with zedcrest as I've had a seamless experience with them. Go where you have peace of mind. But we will continue to post ytd as usual.

teeboi77:
Good morning boss,
Please I would like to know how Zedcrest do the postings,I deposited something small on 23rd of Feb to try it out but I didn't see anywhere on the app where I can see the what drops daily,I only see that my value was dropping and also my portfolio balance is showing something different to what i see when i click on the Equity fund tab,so I am confused.

Kindly explain how to monitor daily earnings or returns on zedcrest.
With zedcrest, I fund my wallet first, then fund my equity plan from my wallet. Your portfolio includes all the funds you have invested in zedcrest. Eg, the money in your equity fund, the money in your wallet, the money in your treasury bills bought on the app etc. Every investment on zedcrest + your wallet balance is what is shown in "Portfolio".

Your value dropped when you funded the equity plan due to the difference in bid price and offer price. that's normal. And then your money kept going down last week cos the ASI itself went down last week. Go back in the thread, last week was mostly red.

But if you're looking for an app that will show you the daily figure of your gains or losses, biko stick to cardinal stone.

The truth is every fund manager equity will have bad days. Regardless of whatever happens, I will never advise any investor to put their funds in one fund manager for equity. You can put all of your investment in one fund manager for MMF, but for equity it should be two because every fund manager don't have same stocks in their basket. This week maybe good for Cardinal stone, next week will be green for zedcrest. No fund manager can always have it green when it comes to equity.

Most folks are still scared and impatient with equity; with time, they will get accustomed to it and the glitches by the fund managers.

Hey guys,
I just started with Cardinal Stone Equity Fund. I put in 200k and as soon as the funds settled, It dropped to 197,731.51 instantly. What could be the issue?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 9:16am On Mar 03
The bid price made your fund drop; this is usually normal for equity. Once the NAV surpasses the bid price, you will see instant gain.

Cardinalstone app is the best no dispute. For zedcrest, check your wallet, if you have extra cash in there that's the reason for the amount discrepancy. Whatever you have in your portfolio is your equity amount.
One other thing I noticed, only cardinalstone give interest on the weekend, no matter how little.

This equity thing with different managers dey different. Can't be compared. I attached my zedcrest from last Friday and yesterday compare it with my cs return of yesterday. Despite cs lower ytd, the return was at par or more than zedcrest.

I've given up on comparison, I'm just following diversification.

Today might also be a big green day. Yesterday, the Zenith balanced and ESG funds performed moderately. You can always access the Zenith statement through the history tab and click on "statement." CardinalStone and Zrosk subscribers may notice a significant green tonight.

Bro, InvestNaija. Download the app on the Play Store. @Uberchic1, drop your referral code so you can earn some cash, as you are the one that introduced "Paramount."

Nicey. You may develop some cold feet just about going in lol. You will start to remember how hard you worked for the money and how long it took you.

Then when they hit you with the T&C and you read how if you loose the money and you cant hold them, you brain will attempt to guilt trip you

Lol. I once read that the difference between getting rich and being poor is risk capital i.e How much you are able to invest aggressively and accept to loose if it goes south
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 8:41pm On Mar 03
Investing in equity is a risky game that needs patience; however, we were not taught at school about investment policies and other stuff related to investment. I just started investing last year in September and am gaining knowledge daily, and I also watch YouTube videos on investment, from youth diversification to pension diversification and how to have a balanced portfolio. Moreover, to beat inflation, equity is a must and will always be my priority.

How is gt equity fund performance like. Is it worth investing on. For those already subcribe to it is the green daya more than the Red daya. And How long does it take for deposit to reflect.

Youtodo:
I have said this previously, GT equity doesn't update same day. Yesterday's return will reflect today.

Honestly, nobody knows what is inside there.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 10:27pm On Mar 03
The reason why CS paid more despite having a low YTD is because the percentage of equity allocation in their portfolio might be higher than Zedcrest's equity allocation. Paramount bought huge green today, and I was amazed. After skimming their fund factsheet, I finally understood why I made a very huge gain today.
