Is stock the only asset of CSOF at CS?
I suspect that they might include some high return real estate deals in the CSOF portfolio, and that might be the major reason that you are expected to tie down the funds with them for at least one year.

How is gt equity fund performance like. Is it worth investing on. For those already subcribe to it is the green daya more than the Red daya. And How long does it take for deposit to reflect.
GT Equity deposit takes 24hrs to reflect, and comes with little loss base on slight difference between offer price and bid price. My GTB Equity in Feb 2nd was ₦10,183,016 by the end of the month Feb 27th was ₦12,151,549.04. This is gross value oh. While UCAP equity went from ₦5m in Feb 2nd to ₦5,481,632.47 in Feb 27th

I believe that CSOF is cardinalstone trade secret, it might surprise you to know that they might even be supporting that CSOF from the daily proceeds of other mutual funds in their portfolio,
CardinalStone fund manager's will never allow their beloved and valued investor's to loose their funds in that CSOF, you don't need a prophet to tell you that,do you know what it means to tie down #100million for 365days?,
If i have #100million at my disposal, i will not think twice before investing into that CSOF ,that's the best package in CS investment portfolio.

Yes, in the future I will be moving back to CS for the CSOF. Honestly CardinalStone has the best platform, and it's better to stick with the one that has no drama. Zenith was not like this last year. I guess after opening this thread and the heavy subscriptions to their ESG and Balanced Fund, they couldn't handle the workload.
To be honest I'm having a good time with CD platform and services. Stockbroking and Equity MF

Paramount has the highest return for now if the market is bullish due to their huge weight on equity. The earnings yesterday are enough for this week unless Spartacus goes crazy.

It's another world on its own. My first big shock was wen I lost 600k plus in a day. Everywhere first blur but bouncing back was quick.

My 1w profit would have been 1m yesterday if some things didn't change towards closing of the market

I'm in for the extreme long run however

See my net return trend below

Paramount and zedcrest. Zedcrest jumped a whole 3.34% yesterday. Crazy huge green. It's at 47.89% ytd. Paramount is now 39.72% ytd. Those 2 are doing wonders for me.

Yeaaa... Having a cold feet before investing with it is normal. T and Cs before investment is also normal.

But they're not stupid. Except there's a crash, nothing is making you lose your capital with that CSOF. Nothing.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 9:45am On Mar 04
The YTD jump does not matter if the stocks do not weigh much in the portfolio. Paramount has 90% pure equity; thus, it will bring a lot of cash when the market is bullish. Try and navigate through the Zedcrest fund sheet to know how their portfolio is being weighed.

Zedcrest has 97% pure equity. Definitely brings way more green when the market is bullish. Also it invests heavily in the services sector which is performing great so far.
Re: Equity Investment. by Uberchic1: 9:55am On Mar 04
Paramount subscribers btw, the reason your weekend top ups were delayed was due to it being end of the month. Paramount replied me yesterday morning and provided some clarity for those who had a top up scare.

Hmmm....Okay, bro. This is becoming mixed up. Because i'm trying to understand you.

What is YTD? Percentage increase on capital from the beginning of the the year to the present day.

It is the fund's performance as a whole entity i.e When you add the returns from the different subsectors of that fund (equity, cash, money market instruments etc)

Except you're saying the money market instruments and the likes contributed the largest portion of the jump for that day which I don't seem to agree with.

Zedcrest is already at almost 50% YTD, almost on par with CSOF. That alone should tell you what the investment is weighted on.

Good one bro. Exactly my point. That 47.89% screams equity in the loudest volumes.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody:
YTD is the year-to-date return. If you look at a balance fund, it is weighted on bonds, money market and equity. For equity, some have 75% stocks, and the others have money market, cash, and bonds. From what I have seen, the higher the stock allocation, the more profit it brings and the higher the risk and losses. Yesterday, a subscriber of CS was saying the profit made from CS was higher than Zedcrest even though Zedcrest had a higher YTD performance that day. The money market also helps to cushion the returns and risk; if the money market also performs well on that day, it might bring more returns for the fund than those who weigh tiny on the money market. . Only CS equity returns earnings on weekends, which shows the money market is instrumental.

Anyway, money is money.
