the US personnels shooting those things are regular guys just like you and me. They're not above mistakes. There are videos where you can clearly see them striking decoy planes and drones. Russians did the same thing in Ukraine. When you view a target from above it's very easy to hit decoys especially targets that don't require stringent approval and verifications from higher ups (like taking out leaders etc).

The real F-14s need a runway. Even if you move them underground, how do you use them without a runway? They will decimate the facilities housing these jets and make them unusable, needing months of construction to dig out rubble and get to them.

When they're done decimating everyone on the surface from the air, they will land some ground troops or robots to go underground and plant detonation systems to completely wipe anything under the surface out. They will also plant surveillance systems to continue to monitor the area for activity

A video shows a person hitting an image. The person hit it it but it was still there. The person then reported to Trump "we have destroyed it all", then Trump tells the world "We have destroyed their aircrafts".

Meanwhile the person that hit this target saw the target was still there, but anyway they sent word back to Trump that they destroyed everything.

Your mind didn't go "This looks like a game simulation propaganda". "This is ridiculous, Trump couldn't possibly think that a target an aircraft which was hit remained in place". "This is an AI generated video and so on". "These images are on satellite, they had to know". "Even if they did, it's a misdirection". Your mind quickly ran to "These are inexperienced 20-year olds, they don't know what they're doing".

You might be surprised at how incompetent people you glorify so much actually are. For your information, USA managed to lose 3 aircrafts to friendly fire within an hour. If someone told you that, would you believe it if it hadn't just happened?
