The golf cars used for transportation in Abuja is too small in size of a vehicle to be carrying six passengers (two in front seat and four in back seat). You’ll see passengers cramped inside the car an even sitting on other passengers laps as a result and it’s really pathetic. You can’t enjoy a ride in Abuja if you’re using the golf cars to get to your destination. With the smooth roads but you’re wishing you disembark your destination in a hurry, why, because the vehicle isn’t convenient, it’s too tight. In a 21st century?

SOLUTION:
Boycotting the golf cars
HOW:
When you see any golf vehicles that already have four (4) passengers don’t enter, see it as already full. that means one passenger in the front seat and three passengers in the back seat is considered full, don’t board (enter) it.

How can a few (illiterates) be oppressing the masses. Let’s do this, it’s the only way to enjoy a good ride in the golf cars of Abuja public transportation.

Let this go viral.

I understand your grievance. But you cannot dictate to private car owners how to use their vehicles. Many of them took loans to buy the car, some are driving on hire purchase, others have huge responsibilities to take care of.

The ideal thing in this situation is for the government to fulfill its promises of releasing enough CNG powered buses to cater for mass transportation in Abuja.

Currently, demand exceed supply, and so, even if you preach from today till 2030, people will still cramp themselves in the small golf taxis. If I can squeeze myself for a 40-60 minute ride, why should I waste more time at the park after long hours of stressful work. I just want to get home, eat, rest and prepare for the next day. Not spending hours waiting for a comfortable car at the bus station.

I am not invalidating your concern, just saying the best way to solve this is to invest in mass transportation and alternative means of transport, you will see how these private commercial drivers will adjust accordingly. Sone things cannot just be forced.

Shalom!

Since they’ll eventually adjust, let the adjustment begin in early. Greedy people are insatiable, they always want to get more by any means. It’s a (spirit) system. I’m not saying they shouldn’t do business, I’m only telling the commuters to avoid golf cars that have four passengers already, it’s full.
