My application for NYSC mobilisation was rejected by my school due mismatch in the arrangement of my name. No spelling errors or omission, it's just that the order of the arrangement of my names on my NIN slip is different from the arrangement in my JAMB admission letter. My NIN has the correct name arrangement.

This mismatch was flagged off when I went to submit my documents to my institution. I was asked to go do correction of names. I applied for correction of names to JAMB through my institution. I was given an idemnity form by JAMB to submit to my institution. Of course JAMB will not approve my application without the signature of the registra of my institution. My application was approved and the arrangement problem was rectified. I reprinted my JAMB admission letter with my NIN, took it back to school, this time around, it was accepted.

Yesterday, my institution released the Verified Senate List and I was shocked they still uploaded the wrong arrangement of my name. Even after I had corrected it. I called the office I submitted the application too, he was talking jargon about me going for another process again he never told me of in the first place. I'm also wondering how my initial application for NYSC was rejected by my institution in the first place, when they still went ahead to upload the wrong arrangement anyways.

Will this affect my nysc registration?

No, it won't affect your registration. You can equally apply for name rearrangement on NYSC portal after reg.

Name arrangement is usually not a problem. Just ensure that the name on your certificate or statement of result matches the arrangement on the NYSC portal.
If it doesn't, you can apply for name arrangement during registration so the one on the portal matches the one on your certificate.

Name rearrangement on NYSC portal takes effect under 48 hours. Upon completion of your reg on the portal, place a request immediately.

It might be wrong but what matters is that the name arrangement should be the same.
Your name arrangement on Jamb is irrelevant because NYSC uses the name your school uploaded to them. NIN arrangement doesn't matter, so far the names are the same.
Also, NYSC doesn't accept affidavit. Except you did the affidavit to serve other purposes.
Your name arrangement may be wrong but as long as your certificate and name on NYSC portal has the same arrangement, you can serve. Except you want to go to school and print a new certificate.

Maybe that's why my school deliberately uploaded the wrong arrangement of my name as they have already issued the certificate. They don't reissue certificate for any reason.
