All these things Bwala is writing here is what he should have told the interviewer.
Back to Nigeria where anything goes, he has found the voice he lost during the interview.

From the quote above, Daniel is indirectly telling us a bitter truth about politics.

Never trust anyone who is into politics. They all lack integrity. When I say all, I mean ALL.... Tinubu, Atiku, Peter Obi..etc. All of them lack integrity. They are liars and nothing but foreign puppets fulfilling the wishes and interest of our Neo-colonial masters.

Don't waste your time and energy voting or campaigning for anyone. Your votes don't matter. Your vote doesn't count. Voting gives you nothing but an illusion of choice and nobody cares about you or your choice.

That is why you are all currently battling and will forever continue to battle with Inflation that induces high blood pressure, insecurity and nationwide darkness.

No one has ever cared about you or your vote because at the end of the day, America and Britain have the final say on who will become your president, and whoever they choose, you must accept!
Finally an unbiased view about the reality on ground. You deserve an Award for your objectiveness

When he said he prepared,he thought it was going to be about Peter Obi 😂
Even in this his watery defense, you can see that he is trying to blame Obi

No reasonable person shouldn't be surprised to hear this after he was roasted alive while being questioned on remarks credited to the president in d past...He should be ashamed for denying those remarks...Unfortunately, they're all dirty pigs including their Pay Master.

Tinubu picked Daniel Bwala as the right person to defend him cos he knows his brain is made to defend failure.
Tinubu is very crafty. He stylishly brought in those opposition spokespersons to disgrace them.

So they shouldn't ridicule a government when nobody knows the president's source of wealth, family background, and why he forfeited almost $500k to the US in a drug related investigation? They shouldn't ridicule a government that appointed as a minister, a confirmed thief who forfeited $150 million Abacha loot to the US government? You want interviewers to pamper these charlatans?

I don't know what's wrong with you agbado munchers. It is one thing to be shameless. But it is another thing altogether to be arrogantly shameless.

BiAs how, 🤣 in what sense ... All the question were brewed from facts and evidences we all have access to, everytime Bwala ask him for source

He provides source that are world reliable, he provides accurate date nd time, so where exactly his he bias

How can someone say Nigeria is better now when 18million children are out of school highiest in the world

How can you say Nigeria is better when death from insecurity in each year supersedes the previous
How can you stand before the world today and say Nigeria is better .. When national grid is struggling to sustain 3000MW for ova 200m people

We are a joke in this country, and those supporting Tinubu govt are total disgrace to humanity ... You said you are fighting corruption buh the man in charge of finance is the one man that returned abacha loot as plea bargain .... Like WTF !

The truth is Mr Bwala should not have gone for the interview. It is not every interview that you should attend or rather go for. This interview ought to have been attended by someone who is Outstanding and Astute and Impeccable and also has Gravitas and Steeze

I would advise the government to rejig and restructure its cabinet. Some of its personnel should know their job functions and stick to their job functions and not go overboard to try to show their loyalty to the government and in the end make a show of themselves that makes a mockery of theirselves and bring ridicule to the government.

Tinubu needs to sack this man, one annoying thing he did during the interview was laughing when serious/intelligent questions were raised during the interview. Omor, well there was no difference between him and his principal.
Where is the Link to the interview. Many of us have not seen it.

Could you please share the link and the interview.

Grateful, you do.

You think Al Jazeera is TVC or NTA where you go and lie uselessly.

Anyway, I don't expect anything good from him since he was in opposition before switching loyalty.

Digital Memory, Political Maturity and Lessons from the Bwala and Mehdi Hasan Interview on Al Jazeera

The recent interview involving Daniel Bwala and Mehdi Hasan on Al Jazeera has sparked widespread online commentary, particularly regarding past remarks about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

However, it is important to interpret such moments within the broader context of democratic politics.

Across the world’s democracies, it is common for individuals who once stood on opposing political platforms to later work within the same government. Political competition often produces sharp criticism, but governance frequently requires coalition building, policy convergence, and evolving perspectives. This dynamic is not unique to Nigeria; it is a recurring feature of democratic systems globally.

That said, moments like this also highlight an important principle of public communication. In an era where digital archives are permanent and easily accessible, outright denial of previously documented statements can be counterproductive.

A more effective and statesmanlike response would have been to acknowledge that political debates sometimes involve strong rhetoric, while emphasizing that perspectives can evolve when one moves from political contestation into the responsibility of governance.

Such a response would demonstrate intellectual honesty while reinforcing the legitimacy of democratic political realignment. It would also reflect the maturity expected from officials representing a government on an international platform.

Ultimately, the larger lesson is not about past political disagreements but about the ability of democratic systems to accommodate change, reconciliation, and cooperation in pursuit of national progress.
