This is very good and commendable I knew something like this will be coming so that it can give them a sense that they are not abandoned or that they don't matter. They do! And all their sacrifices are noted and must be acknowledged by the government. Now it is up to the Armed Forces to sit down and do some house cleaning and soul reflection on what is the reason why all these tactical failures are occuring. All these waste of men and materiel and the embarrassment and loss of human civilian lives. And even loss of land. Abeg let them sit and restrategize. And give us the kind of security we deserve.

The Armed forces and in particular the Nigerian Army personnels deserve a very very good package.

Yes saboteurs and also a failure of the preparedness and the equipment to use. One, the enemies or terrorists normally infiltrate and do their homework of monitoring the army bases well. They know how many men and the type and quantity of materiel is there just like you said then two they also know the army does not have back up. they calculate how long it will take before any air backup or ground backup will come then three they first start with massive bombarding or heavy shooting to weaken moral and instill fear then they gather massively and then enter the bases and kill and even do video. so the army should sit down and think how can they have standby jets 24/7? how can they employ drones 24/7 to see the enemy far before they come near come on people the army can do this and give our peoples the needed protection as enshrined in the constitution

Our armed forces personnel need greatly improved salary and welfare packages that will adequately cater for their real cost of living.

If this happens many will have greater focus, integrity and motivation to perform commendably while our armed forces will find it much easier to attract recruits. Not Rocket science.
