How foolish? Like it’s beyond words… it’s better to worship your village idols than bowing down to people who enslaved you

Omo, the thing tire me, o. I went to a Catholic school from age 6 - 16, (St.Agnes primary school and Maryland Comprehensive Sec. Sch) in Lagos. We even had a Chapel in the school ground. Most of our teachers were nuns and fathers - whites, of course.
I remember going to Mass and all the images i see are of white people - Mary, Jesus, even God in the bible is white and I a black child am taught to recite the prayer, "our father, who hart in heaven......." but i know my father (am like a carbon-copy of him) but he looks nothing like Jesus or God the father.

Hell no, i have no belief in the Gods of my oppressors. Am done praying to their Gods to save me from his children.

Life is a natural progression.............we all get to our destination, eventually.

the brits brought xtianity to our shores but there, their monarch is head of the church whilst in ours, our monarchs either bow to the xtian God or muslim Allah.
One thing I found funny with the our nigerian muslims is that when they go on their pilgrimage to mecca, their so called arab brothers is islam tagged them Alhaji/Alhaja, that's "strangers" but when they come back to their own ancestral land, they retain that description and wear it like a badge of honour.
