So much for the so-called “almighty” America. With all its aircraft carriers and the full backing of NATO sitting in the region, they still couldn’t stop Yemen from disrupting the Red Sea. A global superpower and the world’s most powerful military alliance yet a small country under heavy bombardment can still shake one of the most important shipping routes on earth. If Yemen can cause this much disruption right under the noses of America and NATO, then people should start asking a serious question: if Iran decided to go all in, how much bigger would the damage be? And while these powers play their geopolitical games, the consequences won’t stay in the Middle East. Countries like Nigeria will feel it when fuel prices start climbing again. When petrol hits ₦1800 per litre, everyone including those cheering for America’s foreign policy will understand that global conflicts always end up punishing ordinary people first. |

harlee:Great opportunity for Naija if Mr President and NASS quickly gets NNCPL into shape with fluid oil supplies from various home sources. Now is the time for the NNCP to stop stuffing dey pockets and take advantage of this economic supply and demand situation. Trillions could be rolling into the Federal Treasury for the masses if the right decisions and policies are put into effect immediately. |

Una hero Trump don put the world in further trouble 😂 A TERRORIST enabling government with such irascible behavior in a LEADER like Khomeini has no business owning a nuclear weapon!!😡. Should we allow them to own and subsequently arm terrorists with nuclear bombs or decapitate their LEADERSHIP and force a regime change, even if means being inconvenienced for a week or two more and take another route to evacuate the oil our freighters even if adds extra costs to them?. Surely you know that the strait of homutz isn't the only route. right?. It's only shorter...Meanwhile, in roughly two weeks more, it will be as open as the highway to hell!!. Watch proceedings and leave all these anti American/ Zionists PROPAGANDA. 😤😡 |

franchasofficia:You think the war is about Iran alone, countries like China and Russia will use this opportunity to demystify the USA. Trump miscalculated already, best he throws in the towel and use media to control the narrative. It's not too late to use a different approach. Even in Europe some countries are hoping USA gets embarrassed. |

Zehdbe:All these are propaganda by those against the war in the first place and the UN is a major antagonist......all this is to heap pressure on Trump and heat up the market so prices can keep going up. I still need someone to explain to me how the problem with the strait affects Nigeria energy wise we don't buy crude from the gulf and we are right between the US and china/India going through the cape of good hope to the bight of benin. |
