Iran’s military warns it will target region’s oil sites if Israel hits energy infrastructure

Iran’s military warns that it will target oil sites in the region if Israel continues to strike energy infrastructure in the Islamic Republic.

“The governments of Islamic countries are expected to warn the criminal America and the savage Zionist regime of such cowardly, inhumane actions as soon as possible,” Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesman for Iran’s central military command, tells state TV.

“Otherwise, similar measures will be taken in the region, and if you can tolerate oil at more than $200 per barrel, continue this game,” he says.

Hypocrite? I'm not even on anybody's side. I'm not a fan of war because there's no clear winners when it comes to war. All parties involved will lose significantly.
But you can't hit someone first and actively seek to decapitate them and still get to decide how they'll react/defend themselves. If Iran had hit Israel first with cluster munitions then it would've made more sense.

What is the meaning of this warning when they've already attacked refineries and other oil installations of other countries in the region? Why should their's be treated as sacred? They even bombed a US oil tanker. They should keep shot and get what is coming to them.
