This is a common sense judgment because what this confirms is that while the court cannot interfere in internal matters like who is secretary, whose tenure is over etc but the court or anyone can interfere when the electoral act or section of the constitution is breached.

If you're objective you'll agree that the new amendments to the electoral act is to block lopeholes that bad actors like Peter Obi were using to circumvent the law example with the new law he cannot perform the same nonsense that he did by running to labour party to pick wuruwuru presidential ticket of LP without even having his name on the party register and that's why they are all crying because he knows now that his presidential aspiration will end at the ADC party primary without any legal way to run to another party

Does the new electoral act also block loopholes that bad and selfish actors like Akpabio used to run for senate after losing at the Presidential primaries or for Umahi who never even bothered to contest for senate primaries or your electoral act only exists to check Obi in your mind?

It's on the BoT now...Today's judgement shows there is no leadership in the PDP.

The Wike side will head to the Supreme Court most likely... I understand the 2 Governors will be meeting with the BoT on Wednesday.

The two governors are leaders in PDP and wike has been suspended/expelled alongside anyaneu so why did the appeal court keep silent on Wike's suspension and expulsion ? Is it not to give him the advantage ?

Wike was expelled by the National Convention.
The Appeal Court said the National Convention is a nullity.

The suspension was to Anyanwu and co and that was before the National Convention.

Even the judiciary knows Wike is working for Tinubu. They know he's destroying the party, but they decide to allow themselves to be used as tools against democracy. The judiciary is part of the problems we've in Nigeria.

So my best advice...don't proceed up there, it's a waste of time. Even INEC is hugely complicit, we all know why.

The BoT, though having no executive powers have its Chairman & Secretary as members of NEC. All other BoT members are also members of NEC provided they have no voting rights. They have to write to INEC and force signatures of members to constitute an immediate NEC meeting, give INEC 21 days since there is a vacuum since Damagum left.

Expulsion can only happen at National Convention..what they can do is suspension and the BoT doesn't have that power. The BoT meeting continues today and they will issue a statement on the way forward.
