But i don't know if its a good introduction to anime.

I'd recommend Death Note instead. Although it doesn't have action

If you want something short then I think hell paradise is good for a start to know how interesting anime is

The Culling Game just started. Most of what we've seen this season have been individual character arcs...

E.g we've had the Maki and Zenic clan arc, the Execution arc with Yuji and Yuta, Panda's arc and we've gone through introduction of many new characters and the Culling Game concept...

Maki vs Zenin clan is probably the best episode so far in the entire show and it happened this season. Its the highest rated on IMDB as well...

One thing you cannot fault JJK for this season is its character writing. Its clear that the first half is focused on character growth before the main event. And this is just Culling Game part 1. Part 2 is still coming...

Yet so far, we've had great action as well...
Yuta vs Yuji
Naoya vs Choso
Maki vs Zenin clan
Megumi vs Kirara
Yuji vs Higuruma

All of these are pretty solid fights with unique abilities and the main fights haven't even started. There's even been so much depth to the Jujutsu lore so far.

JJK isn't just fights. People who watch it just for fights are the ones who complain later about not understanding things

He is not wrong, compared to last season it hasn't lived up to expectations. That is why we are waiting for Culling Game to see if it can rival last season.

I know you like going into character development and all but you guys are few in that Whatsapp group. Majority are in for the fight .

The moment I saw the main lead, I knew the series will be nice and also this is now my favorite Sherlock film,

Taking break from work just to finish this series in less that 24hrs really show I really enjoyed it from start to end and this is the first time all the family members are involved together…….. Sherlock and his mother was my favorite character but they were all great in their roles…………………..Season 2 should come fast.

You watch anime to some extent, you’ll know that action not backed by a good story or concept is meaningless. SNK (AOT) is superb not only because of the eye-popping action but also due to the incredible story attached to it.

Not always. You can do Superb action with little. You can have great story with little action . And you can have both. None is better than the other. And all three can be Peak in their own right. JJk sold us more of an action than a story really that is why some people are a little disappointed almost like what Vinland saga did

Waste of time. I couldn't even stomach s1 to its end. This is someone who watched flash till s6 before I got fed up.

Apple Tv need to do everything possible to ensure they cancel Hijack. The second season should have never happened

There isn't an obvious archy-type one season show than the first season. It's just like what the Fast and the Furious Franchise were doing beyond part 4, and what Fx is about to do to "Shōgun". The latter and "Hijack" were clearly built on the premise of a limited series, but they were well received and they thought they could ride on that wave, and spin it further than required....like sometimes, just let things end, no matter how good

"Scrubs" (2026)

"The Fun Life we used to know might be gone and gone for good".

It's no secret that "Scrubs" (2001 - 2009) is my fave sitcom ever, so much so, i always look forward to my yearly re-runs of it. So imagine my excitement when i first heard of a revival, but, my excitement quickly turned to doubt, doubt because i wonder if it will even fit in with the times we are in...

True to form, after seeing the first 2 episodes, i am not sure this should have been made, first off, all my fave characters are now "old" and their hearts are like a quarter into this thing, it clearly looks like, they couldn't land roles elsewhere, and this is like a last meal ticket, before their careers twirls off into abyss..but that's not even my biggest issue.

My issue is that, in a world where representation matters more than any it , even to the detriment of the art, this revival takes a huge bite off it. In the first 2 episodes alone, all races are represented, their is an asian guy who supposedly swings both ways, their is a black guy who is seemly a queen, there is a med student who is content creator and sells dirty feet pics apparently...maaan, this is over representation, to a bland and cringe point, that i don't even know what am even watching anymore!.

It makes me think, like 80% of sitcoms that aired before the world descended into this madness wouldn't have aired today, and the pilots killed off in board rooms because they didn't fit with the times, a very silly times that is. Oh maanm early teens and Pre teens are having the worst version of history, their time saw the world almost get wiped out by a pandemic, WWWIII looked inches away each passing day and on top of that, they probably have the worst set of media in history; movies, shows, music!...the entire lot...just total garbage!

Anyway, i will soldier on with this, because just seeing these faces albeit grey and old now, reminds me of happier times, and i desperately need that, now more than ever, with the world this mad, currently

The disappointment you're talking about is only one this thread I've seen that...

On Twitter and reddit every episode is being praised. I haven't seen a single comment talking about disappointment due to lack of action

It's definitely the first Apple Tv show I have watched that is bang average. Season one had a good ending and covered all the bases. They should have just left it like that.

I also thought Shogun didn't need another season. They already exhausted the source material and ended things well. Whatever they come up with I don't see how they can continue with most of the original cast. Luckily for the producers, that time period of Japan has enough historical content they can tap from so we wait to see if they can pull it off

Trying to watch Vladimir on Netflix, but bruh, its a hard watch. The lead actress for some reason I dont know, her voice almost puts me to sleep, not in a sexy way but exhausting to listen to. No other show to watch right now.
