Boss, do you know if all equity funds automatically reinvest your profits? I ask because Zedcrest asks during subscription what % of your earnings you want reinvested. That is not the same for Stanbic and cardinal stone.

Reinvesting means your dividend. Some equity fund managers pay dividends annually or semi-annually to your bank account or automatically pay it back to your portfolio.

I think strength of currency against inflation also play a role. There is no way a dollar equity fund or mmf will return same rate as naira. The high return also compensate for the weak currency. The local currency of the country u reside is likely to be stronger than naira.

I did mine via the Gt banking app and it was credited same day. I think if you make transfer before certain time of a working day, your fund account should be credited same day.

Interesting. There’s a school of thought that believes the market follows a mathematical pattern.

Infact, the biggest hedge fund in the world does not hire finance people. They only hire mathematicians. They believe finance people donot know anything about the market. The fund is called medallion fund and no other company beats their year on year growth.

They trade using mathematical algorithms and completely disregard all finance indices wall street uses 😂. I guess this March trend lends credence to their ways
