Israel is a nuclear power, and they have more damaging weapons that they can use. They have all the missiles and much more, but they have been using warplanes so they can precisely take out specific targets in Iran and dominate their air space

If at all they investigate Iran's weapons, it is not because they are amazed; it is for them to decide the kind of weapons to use in response or in retaliation. There are still rules of engagement in war, so don't think Israel does not have what they can use.
Israel achieved nuclear power status since the 1980s, something that Iran is trying to achieve now.

Iran has not been able to shoot down a single Israeli plane
Iran cannot fly its own warplane inside its own country
